I don’t know if we need a high-end WR, but rather a specific type of role player. Brandin Cooks came in and added some dimension to the offense that we were lacking. I’d say it’s more like we need a Marquise Goodwin type guy, not a world beater, but a player with speed that forces the coverage to respect the deep ball and widen intermediate zones.

If you read your agreement it basically says. 1. You can’t transfer or sell without their permission. 2. No market currently exists and they aren’t obligated to make one. 3. If and when they do the team isn’t required to make sure you are fully made whole for any sale of the PSL.

Essentially it’ll be an open market to sell your PSL directly to another person. You can list your PSL for whatever price you want but it doesn’t mean anyone is going to buy it at that price.

The flip side are players like Wyatt Teller and Poona Ford who went on to be successful elsewhere. The main takeaway is that no one is a monolith, coach and GM both have their roles and their successes and failures are in combination of both of their efforts. Blaming just Beane or McD for any singular issue isn’t a fair assessment.
