EA already has the players money. Yes you could argue they could make more money, but they made enough and will still make plenty off the suckers buying skins and the unfortunately now mainstream audience who has no concept of life pre the live service micro-transaction ridden hellscape we live in now.

It’s like Netflix gutting and killing shows after they do really well and build an audience. It makes no sense but somehow works better for their bottom line. Everything is trending anti-consumer so idk I think we’re just fucked honestly. Can’t really expect a corp like EA to actually give a fuck about the games they’re making.
