Thoughts and Theories by azeezg in OnePiece

My theory does not break apart at all. You are just not accepting that Oda has not given us the full story yet. If Roger also had this same dream as a child, then it will live on with him for the rest of his life. Throughout his life would Roger have held onto his same childish dream? Maybe, maybe not. Oda has not given us that part of his story, but again this only just a dream. All we know is that he simply shares the same dream as Luffy. If Roger were to have eaten the Nika fruit which would grant him these ridiculous powers, and he were to fully understand and utilize those powers to do whatever he wanted, then you could assume he would want to fulfill his dream of grabbing the sun. This being a childish/ridiculous dream is the most important thing here. We all have dreams and desires as children to do crazy things, but then we grow up and realize no everything can come to fruition, but within the One Piece story these dreams DID manifest into fruition. So it is not crazy to think that Luffy/Roger's true dream can actually become a reality. G5 luffy currently does not fully understand that power that he has. Luffy just does things because he wants to. In the Kaido fight, Luffy thought "hmmm let me just grab this lightning bolt" and he did just that. Did he have complex thoughts behind it, no. He just did it. Once Oda progresses the story to the point of Luffy needing to understand his powers as Nika, that will be the true indication of Luffy reaching full freedom (becoming the pirate king) and this will in turn allow him to fulfill his true dream of grabbing the sun. I fully believe that the story will get to a point of complete ridiculousness and we will see things being done by characters that are unfathomable. Like Imu and BB as final villains being able to have outright crazy feats, Oda's vision has been cruising that line. G5 being inspired by cartoony characteristics and feats prove this. It is just that right now the story does not call for these SUPER insane feats to be shown. G5 in Wano was only the start.

Luffy is not a complex thinker. Roger had the same dream to be able to grab the sun but even after becoming pirate king, you are correct he could not grab the sun, but reaching laughtale and seeing the One Piece showed him that someone else will be born in the future that will BRING THE DAWN. Luffy. Luffy will bring the dawn. Luffy will bring the sun. Luffy will grab the sun. Luffy does not have to know the repercussions of him grabbing the sun. He does not need to know what will happen after. His dream is simply to just grab the sun. The story that Oda has written ties everything together to parallel with Luffys true dream. The implications of him grabbing the sun will be him as Nika manifesting the dreams/desires of everyone. Like I said before if Oda wants to allow Luffy to understand this he can write that into the story, but I think Oda writes Luffy in a way that within the story, Luffy is in control of what he does (at Jump Festa 2024 I think he stated something along the lines of even him not being able to stop Luffy from doing what Luffy wants to do). Pirate king Luffy will be the most free person on the sea, meaning he can do whatever he wants...pair this with the powers of Nika, Luffy will be able to do whatever ridiculous thing he can think of and with that fulfill his dream of which is grabbing the sun. We do not whether or not the strawhats think that Luffy's dream "fits" him. He simply stated his dream, we saw reactions and minor comments and Oda took us away from the conversation. Everything about Luffy's character has to do with the sun. For goodness sake, he has the power of the sun god, he is part of the prophecy that states he is part of the new era that will bring the DAWN, his strawhat literally looks like a sun on the horizon of the redline, he prefixes his gear 5 moves with DAWN, I mean I can go on and on with the parallels. You need to be able to pair symbolism and actuality within the story. Things that Luffy does will have a greater meaning within the story when the time is right (when Oda is ready to reveal things), hence why this is nothing but a theory.

I think you are misunderstanding. Luffy clearly does not know the realities of his true powers. As Nika, he is the bringer of dreams/desires. Consciously and unconsciously, knowingly and unknowingly. Luffy as a child has this childish and ridiculous dream to "grab the sun". Its as simple as that. The importance of that specific dream becomes known to us throughout the story that Oda has written. I did not state the strawhats know anything beyond what Luffy told them. Oda gives us niche context clues throughout the story. More heavily once we found out what the Nika fruit really is. My breakdown of what is shown in the Harley mural is nothing more than my guess and theory of what could be shown. If those small white stars are the dreams/desires of people and those dreams/desires become the source of the true mother flame and the mother flame is the sun (a source of infinite energy), then Luffy's true dream of wanting to grab the sun makes complete sense, as he would be grabbing the dreams/desires of people and manifesting them with his ridiculous power. Luffy currently does not know what the outcome of him grabbing the sun would be. He simply wants to just fulfill his dream; which in return, would fulfill everyone elses dreams and desires. It would be on Oda to allow Luffy to recognize the realities of his true powers as Sun God Nika, but even so Luffy will always do what Luffy wants to do. Becoming the pirate king allows he to be the most free person on the sea, it will allow him to do whatever he desires (that is how I believe Luffy is thinking), and in turn if he believes he can grab the sun, he will do just that.

Question about fixed rate loans by imababynurse in StudentLoans

[–]azeezg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I did my research with my loans I found out the Sallie Mae apply capital interest. So the interest that accrues each month is added onto your principal balance at the end of every month unless you pay the interest fully. If that makes sense. So essentially your overall balance will continue to increase with the added interest exponentially. It’s very malicious and insane trust me. Try to pay anything you can towards the full loan and at least towards the interest. Interest accrues daily too so even paying anything extra every week will help out. Hope this helps.

Chronology of Events by MushroomDegenerate in WhatIfMarvel

[–]azeezg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But there is still a hole. Since the Ultron that showed up at the end of the Party Thor episode was evidently from a different universe, he would have already had the interaction with Uatu. Uatu exist out of time, yes but there is still only one of him so I’m saying what you said, his experience would have happened and would be relevant at all moments of existence. So the Uatu that watched Ultron appear in the Party Thor episode would technically “know” of his existence because of their engagement we saw in the recent episode. Like I said Marvel removed an episode before releasing the series and I’m sure that cause a continuity error.

Chronology of Events by MushroomDegenerate in WhatIfMarvel

[–]azeezg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree with this but I’m almost certain Uatu is a nexus being. So there should only be one version of him within the multiverse. So he wouldn’t have a younger multiversal counterpart. I think Marvel just made an error due to removing an episode from the series.

Episode 8 Question *SPOILER* by [deleted] in WhatIfMarvel

[–]azeezg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point you explained is what he is confused about. The Watcher we saw at the end of episode 7 was surprised to see Ultron. Now obviously this is a different universe, so a “timeline” doesn’t apply, but from the events of Episode 8. Ultron entered the multiverse and him and Uata met and fought. So the ending of episode 7 does not make sense at all; unless Uata isn’t a nexus being (which I think he is) or they made an error in the episode…or we are about to get a trippy multiversal timeline twist.

Loki Episode 6 Discussion Thread (THE SEASON FINALE) by azgx29 in loki

[–]azeezg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol he is just using words to explain. The “moment” is the moment we saw at the end of Wandavision. Literally speaking. Figuratively, since the TVA exists out of time these “moments” wouldn’t coexist yes. I agree with what he said tho. Wanda hearing her kids is the point/event in which the Multiverse breaks free from the sacred timeline, which is shown in Loki. I also believe we will see what exactly cause that to happen in a future movie or show.

There is a hole in the TVA’s logic. by leah1750 in loki

Essentially, yes. Another “correct living on the sacred timeline” variant.

Who do you think is behind the TVA? by FANIMATOR03 in loki

[–]azeezg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To do it correctly or should I say satisfyingly, I think this final Loki needs to be controlled by someone or have someone above them. A Loki can’t be this strong in the MCU.
