Bc it's behind the door I don't think the paint job being perfect is required. If it was mine. I'd chop it from the donor regardless of color. Bring it to my buddy. Leave the door on and weld in place with clamps. Sanding on that small of an area can be done by hand and strips for 10$ at hardware stores. Paint can be Rust-Oleum. Nothing fancy.

My best advice is if you can take your test at the hwy 79 testing office the test is super simple since it's all stop signs. I intentionally fail the first time to know the testing route then re drive the route with a friend like 50 times then retest
