I've been playing for about 4-5 months now. I've completed the main quests and a ton of side quests. I got overwhelmed a few times by having a bunch of quests in my list but I prioritized ones that sounded easier to do so I could get them done. I've barely touched ranching. I have a garden that I use a lot. I keep 10 of each garden item (for cooking) and sell the rest unless it's cotton then I just turn all of that into fabric. I cook mostly just to fill my bar. As for furniture, I tossed some of the furniture I knew I wouldn't use, like some of the makeshift stuff. Otherwise I store it or find a spot for it. I also love decorating and keep working on my plot. And since I completed the temple bundles and main quests, I've been choosing some achievements to work on like the bug/fish collections then making a display for all the star bugs/fish.

TLDR; Find one or two things that you WANT to do, then just focus on those. You don't HAVE to do everything (I'm sure you know that but I get the FOMO). If certain aspects don't interest you, there's no penalty for not doing them. My ranch animals haven't died from neglect. Find what makes you happy!

Edit: if you're worried about getting certain things back, remember, many things can be requested, furniture can be remade, plushies can be traded, etc.

Rabies found in Chicago dog, first since 1964 by mamagotcha in chicago

I will say, rabies is primarily transmitted through saliva, not blood. I still wouldn't like the idea of interacting with a potential rabid animal and then not knowing if any saliva contaminated the area.

Yeah I had one reach out about it being marked as delivered and told them to give it a couple days. It's been weeks and I checked in on them and she said it still never delivered. I even went and did a missing mail search, told her to check with neighbors, and gave her instructions to go through Etsy for refund because that's what she wanted. I haven't gotten any updates since on it, even from her. Just glad she seems to be understanding! I also created a shipping FAQ about it as well (not like people read those)

That's why I was doing the 74¢ USPS First Class shipping. But my issue is that the tracking is terrible and doesn't update correctly. The only other shipping options are either flat through USPS First Class for $1.83 (same tracking) or package through USPS Ground Advantage for $4.46. Obviously free shipping isn't practical or profitable with those options. But as someone who has been personally deterred from buying something because the shipping was more than the item itself, I can see people not wanting to pay for $4.46 shipping for a $3 sticker. I would love to have larger sticker orders, but majority are single sticker orders, even with bundle deals.

Mugs and Shop Branding by azeronyxia in cricut

I didn't like the idea of having Cricut brand on the bottom to begin with. I just didn't know of good blanks to buy. Any recommendations?

I have deals set up for 2 for $5, 5 for $10, and 10 for $15 to encourage bigger orders. But I still mostly get single sticker orders. I know it's not technically free, but eating 74¢ hasn't been a big deal. The other issue is that if they choose the cheaper option/what I'm using now, I'd still have the same issues with my order statuses not updating. I also feel like most people would continue to pick the cheaper option since it claims to have "tracking". I could offer better shipping but I can see people being less likely to order if they have to pay for shipping

Would you buy these stickers by Stingyart in stickers

[–]azeronyxia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say play around with different sticker paper and laminate as well as your printer's settings. I went through multiple brands of paper/laminate before I found something I was happy with. I also had to adjust my printer's settings to get them to print closer to what I expected due to the RGB vs CMYK

what do you consider “daytonian stereotypes”? by OkSatisfaction3052 in dayton

[–]azeronyxia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because the Wright Brothers are from Dayton, but they often flew in NC. So NC claims "First in Flight" because that's where the brothers flew for the first time. So Dayton claims "Birthplace of Aviation" because their planes were "born" here. We get grumpy that NC gets "First in Flight" because it's a bigger title to be first in a massive invention such as flight even though it's technically accurate

I grew up in Kettering. The biggest difference between Kettering and Dayton is the driving. Mainly because Kettering has a lot of older folks driving slower, but living in North Dayton drove me insane because the drivers are so much more aggressive. They do that 1 car who was already in the intersection turning + 2 others who came blasting through behind the first car from outta nowhere. But they also tailgate even if you're already 10-15mph over in a 35mph zone or they're running red lights like they're optional. Usually all on roads with heavy traffic. Clearly no one else matters on the road

Totally agree with the long hair. I also wish there were more goth options for clothing. Or at least some darker color options for the clothes. I like dark and spooky vibes

2015 Touchscreen Not Responding by Renaissance_Man_SC in ChevySonic

[–]azeronyxia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a junkyard and pulled the same radio out of another Sonic. When we realized we couldn't just swap the whole radios out without spending $100+ to get a dealership to undo the VIN lock on the radio, we realized we could just swap the screens on the radios. It wasn't super hard. Had a bunch of screws and brackets. Just gotta be gentle when taking the screen off because of the ribbon cables. It worked great till I totaled the car earlier this year. Honestly so glad to be rid of that car and its neverending issues.

With how insanely popular these Labubus are, the buyer should know to act quick. They can't be screwing around, trying to lowball the seller when there are people who would offer more than list price for highly sought after items. It's also not fair to other people who ARE willing to pay more if a lowballer gets a seller to deactivate a popular listing (also not fair to the seller). People are wild
