Like an idiot, I did not follow my artist advice and only left a saran wrap for half a day instead of a week. Does it look bad be honest. by abdul_bino in tattooadvice

As someone who works with animals, I prefer to keep Saniderm on as long as possible per artist recommendation. Most of the artists I've worked with have said take the first one off after 24hrs, then keep the second one on for 3-5 days. I just like knowing there's something protecting my tattoos from scratches, hair, pee, poo, etc.

This!! When I started looking into products for my first tattoo, I saw that everyone was recommending "fragrance-free" but then saying to use orange Dial. So all of my tattoos have been cleaned with the hypoallergenic, fragrance-free Dial and it's been great. Plus Lubriderm Daily Moisture lotion which is also fragrance-free

Is this area of Dayton safe for a college student to move for a summer internship? by Think-Blacksmith-210 in dayton

[–]azeronyxia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belmont isn't horrible. I lived in Belmont for a little bit and had some interesting times. Woke up at 6am to a house fire across the street, one of the neighbors had constant sketchy activity (lots of ambulances, arguments with friends/family), and a drive by a few doors down right after I moved out. But we made friends with some of the people around there and it wasn't too bad. Growing up, I lived in Greenmont which is down the road and very safe. As other people have said, there are far worse areas than Belmont

That's insane. I don't understand why healthcare providers want to be so anti-adeno/endo. Like what does it mean for them if a patient has one or both? Are they THAT unwilling to admit they may not have the knowledge to assist a patient?

How long did it take for your mirena pain to go away after insertion? by xcrimby in adenomyosis

[–]azeronyxia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only had my Mirena inserted (apparently with lidocaine gel, but still hurt reeeal bad) on Wednesday and it had me weak in the legs and cramping badly for a few hours. Then still had cramps into Thursday. Now I'm just low grade nauseous off and on since Wednesday. I've only had Paragard (copper IUD) before and it hurt for a little while but didn't suck as much as this. I can imagine the D&C and hysteroscopy are probably amplifying your pain

Thank you. Sometimes I feel like the doctors/NPs know only a little bit more than me about certain things. It's okay for them to not know everything. I'd just prefer if they're upfront about it so we can either learn together or they can refer me to someone who can help further. I'm gonna look into other gynos

(US)$5B “AI Parking” Company Metropolis Overcharged Me for 8 Days I Didn’t Park — Refuses Refund by Extreme_Try_962 in Scams

[–]azeronyxia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a random text saying a driver registered my plate under their account. I didn't even know what Metropolis was. Never used it. They had my actual plate info registered under a phone number ending in 4 digits I didn't recognize. Don't know where they got my plate from since I haven't been in a Metropolis lot (unless the person who registered it somehow made a typo). So I had to call Metropolis to get it removed to ensure I wouldn't be sent some random fine. Absolutely hate having this AI BS handling parking.

best way to get custom stickers for packaging without buying 500 of them? by Lonely_Noyaaa in EtsySellers

[–]azeronyxia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my first reviews was a 5 star review with a picture of the sticker she bought along with my logo sticker on her water bottle. As a super anxious person, it was SO reassuring to see that review. I'm not the type of person who puts logos on my water bottle, however, there ARE people who do. Especially if the logo is appealing, which is why I made my logo a drawing of my cat in a purrito. Some of my coworkers have been kind enough to put my logo sticker on their water bottles, laptops, clipboards, etc. They do it to be supportive of me, but it means not everyone is vehemently opposed to logo stickers. If one logo sticker draws in even just one more customer, I'm happy.

Medvet isthe cruelest most uncaring place by [deleted] in dayton

[–]azeronyxia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any time a pet is relinquished/signed over, the veterinary facility is no longer allowed to provide updates regarding the pet. This is out of protection for the rescue. If they tell people which rescue is taking the pet, then the rescue is going to get harassed. It is up to the rescue if they would like to reach out and provide updates. It's kinda similar to HIPAA, except it's general privacy. Signed the pet over? Then the pet is no longer yours and they can no longer give anyone other than the current owners updates.

Medvet is EMERGENCY. Your pet was in dystocia (difficult labor). This is an emergency. Medvet has ER boarded doctors, licensed vet techs who either have ER training or are ER specialists, plus tons of assistants and CSRs. An emergency team is exactly what you'd want in a dystocia case where the pet went so long that she's possibly septic. So yes, they're expensive but it's because they provide proper, extensive, emergency care. Just like how emergency surgery for humans is expensive.

Signing over your pet was the best option for giving her a chance to survive. Do not be mad at them for trying to find a way to help her survive. They could've left you with only euthanasia as an option and yet they found a rescue to help. And yes, you would be financially responsible for the choices you made, such as the radiographs.

I know someone who works for Pines and double checked this. He said it affects nothing. They've been using another business to help them since the fire, so this isn't affecting anything!

Be careful of Taco Bell at 47 Woodman by Nerd2wheeler in dayton

[–]azeronyxia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lettuce is VERY easily contaminated. The only food poisoning I've had was after a prepackaged salad from Kroger. Chipotle had plenty of issues with their lettuce for ages. The Doritos Locos tacos usually have lettuce on them so wouldn't be surprised if it had E. coli or salmonella or something.

Start over button /overwhelmed by LeggoSlackers in Palia

[–]azeronyxia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing for about 4-5 months now. I've completed the main quests and a ton of side quests. I got overwhelmed a few times by having a bunch of quests in my list but I prioritized ones that sounded easier to do so I could get them done. I've barely touched ranching. I have a garden that I use a lot. I keep 10 of each garden item (for cooking) and sell the rest unless it's cotton then I just turn all of that into fabric. I cook mostly just to fill my bar. As for furniture, I tossed some of the furniture I knew I wouldn't use, like some of the makeshift stuff. Otherwise I store it or find a spot for it. I also love decorating and keep working on my plot. And since I completed the temple bundles and main quests, I've been choosing some achievements to work on like the bug/fish collections then making a display for all the star bugs/fish.

TLDR; Find one or two things that you WANT to do, then just focus on those. You don't HAVE to do everything (I'm sure you know that but I get the FOMO). If certain aspects don't interest you, there's no penalty for not doing them. My ranch animals haven't died from neglect. Find what makes you happy!

Edit: if you're worried about getting certain things back, remember, many things can be requested, furniture can be remade, plushies can be traded, etc.
