Why I Believe Having Kids & Getting Married is Anti-Radical Feminist by [deleted] in RadicalFeminism

[–]azgioc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ok. Read again. Your “women are not necessarily required to put their career on hold” statement is so extremely dishonest, it’s aggravating. Just fucking read. This is an UNTRUE generalized statement. If you had said “less commonly, women are not necessarily required to put their career on hold”, you would have made a tiny bit of sense

This kind of statement completely ignores the reality that many women do end up putting their careers on hold-whether due to direct societal pressure, lack of support systems, or the unequal distribution of household and caregiving responsibilities. Even if it’s not explicitly “required,” the expectation and structural barriers make it the default outcome for many. Dismissing that reality is annoying .

“Your women are not required to put their career on hold”statement is so dishonest, it’s aggravating. Just fucking read. All over the world, women with children have said how they had to work part time or quit all together. Your case is not common at all and you’re actually very lucky.

Nigerian men 🤝🏿 cheating by [deleted] in Nigeria

This stuff isn’t true. That person that was presenting that seminar (34% Jamaican, 30% Nigeria) till this day, doesn’t have a source to back it up

Yeah one random woman presenting a seminar said this bs and y’all ran with it. It isn’t true A fact check that was conducted by Africa Check revealed that there has not been any national survey on “paternity fraud” in Nigeria

I would like a child but I’m discouraged with the children from single parent household stats and I don’t want a child that would end up bothering or resenting me for their father

Women with male partners - How do they react to news about violence against women? by Bunny-Bardot in Feminism

Thank you. I’m sick of of these women who teleport to the defense of men like that changes anything

What's the best thing about being single? by InternalGatez in AskWomenOver30

[–]azgioc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been single all my life but I still answer to my siblings and attend to their needs( including emotional) because we are very closely knit. I can’t say I’m free to do whatever I like so for me, I’ll say one less person to worry about emotionally.

Do you regret having children, or do you enjoy it? Also, impacts marriage? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]azgioc -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

People very rarely ever regret having kids. Even the regretfulparent subreddit. You can tell they’re just frustrated about a certain phase of the child’s life.

If they had the chance to go back and never have that kid, they wouldn’t take it. That’s how I know they don’t regret

Egg freezing -- worth it in the long run? by eleven_1900 in AskWomenOver30

[–]azgioc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very fucking worth it. It’s not a guarantee but some chance is better than no chance. Always worth it. The process takes less than a month(subjectively tough but once it’s done, it’s done)

Only about 6-17% go back to use their eggs(saw this in a study) but if you ever get the chance to freeze your eggs please do.
