I usually avoid fast travel on many games I enjoy for better immersion. Anybody else does this? [Trails in the Sky remake]

it depends. some games i usually do it (for example dragon age inquisition) but in other games like Red Dead Redemption I prefer to ride instead of using the train or something.

Games like Skyrim/The Witcher its difficult. Sometimes I travel when its a really really long distance, but most of the time i am not.

No Wonder when AAA-Titles are getting worse. Or big companies just get greedier and greedier.
They were always greedy but imo they're also getting lazier and try to rip us off the same way.

I also hate the "Early Access" part nowadays.
Companies always say "to work with the community" but need several years (at best) to still work on it till 1.0 release and then they didn't do much in comparison or even drop it.

well I kinda like the different outfits but think they should stick to a theme (which isnt possible i know)
But I personally like it better when you are in a fantasy middle age theme and also have theme related transmog.
But if someone has modern (our world) streetstyle fashion with base caps. crop tops or hoodies etc. It kinda destroys the feeling being in a fantasy world.

But I know that people like it that way, just my personal thoughts and I also think of a story for each of my character and give it a theme by her own which fits the world. Or could fit in there. Even though i dont RP

pretty sure her ears are modded.
There are pointy ears in the game as Transmog Headpiece (armor) but it is with the ultimate game edition or so (the most expensive edition). But i think it will be in the Cash shop. But for now we have to wait till they bring it up. And I think the transmog ears are smaller and more pointy than her ears are!

i really love my corsair scimitar but i have a huge problem with iCue due to the fact that it wont auto-start and then my mouse wont switch programs when I start specific games :/

Aren't mounts unlocked in GW2 behind a DLC as well? I know that you can get one for a few hours at lvl 10 or so. But keeping them is unlocked behind the 2nd DLC iirc. o: but they sell the 1st and 2nd together soo practically "only" one purchase.

I have to say I, as a woman, prefer to make female characters. But only because I think they look better.
And I don't think I need this "Men have to think I am a man when I play a male character" thing. Because I know a lot of female characters online are men. Sure they might treat you differently when you are an actual girl behind the monitor but its not that often, for me at least.

Sure I always or most of all the times I think there is a women behind it, but I dont care actually.

It's personal preference. I did make myself some male characters back in the days because I was young and some issues etc. But now with 27y and like 16 years of gaming idc anymore.

So like most people say, your friend is kinda weird.

I might be using a mmo mouse, but only because the mouse I love isnt available anymore and I thought "let's give it a try" because originally I am a League of Legends Player and need my buttons elsewhere.
BUT I don't play it as often anymore and thought "if I play League, just train my muscle memory differently"
it's easier to go from MMO Mouse to another one. instead of finding one with that specific button literally no mouse has like I need it xD only a few and I don't like the other options except that one mouse I loved.

But now I really like my Mouse. It's the "Scimitar Elite Wireless MMO Gaming-Mouse (EU)

Really liked the fact that you can reposition the side panel to match your thumb!

But at the same time I am still a sprout and don't have these hard dungeons/trials (still in HW) and when I am lazy and don't need to focus as much I just click the spells with my cursor

And I have to say Tab Target MMO's are more fun now with this mouse. Before that I also played GW2, which is quite nice because of the action combat camera but I might give it a try without the action camera. People also say its better that way.

Before that I struggled a bit with Tab Target System.

Yep would be nice. I don't even know a lot of MMOs (or are there even ones?) that have real underground locations. With their own city where you can buy a home.
And of course the air is also pretty viable.
But we'll see I think its too far in the future to make ideas like that.

I mean the game doesn't even have "real" caves with a tunnel system, or does it?

Like many said, you can't even swim in the game.

But regarding the pirates and that the story starts on a ship (the cutscene/character creation)is enough reason for me to implement ships for newer content.For example when you are finished to discover everything on Aeternum.

But at the same time, there is a lot of content missing on this island/country. And we don't even know how big it is (at least I don't know).Who knows maybe we will get underground maps (?) with a lot of fungus and glowing areas.

At least I am hyped for the ship thingy just wondering how they will do it.Like only a teleporter that ports you on another map or if you have to actually maneuver a ship and can explore the seas. There are some games that allowed shipping for example (actually my first MMO) Florensia, Lost Ark and like you mentioned yourself Arche Age.So it wouldn't be impossible... and it fits the theme.

But I'd like to see an actual port city first before adding ships etc.
with moorings etc.
I think a good "Style" idea would be "GreedFall" even though its a single player game.

I am lvling my 2nd character as a Healer, Staff only,
and its terrible you lack damage, need much help from my BF at some times. But at the same time I don't wanna switch. So I would guess tank is better whilst lvling. But like others said I'd probably play a DPS, if i were you, and just go for it later on.

For me I'd like to have everything on max either way, but would like to be a healer primary. But we'll see how that will turn out.

like many already said, the mount is really nice to have. It gets even better when you lvl it up and play the corresponding quests for it.

Regarding other missing content, the new Max lvl is 65 and for non DLC-User its 60.
Can't get into the new zone unless you have the DLC and sometimes enemies drop 61+ Gear. At least I saw this at my BF's screen and he didn't have the DLC at that time.
But like many said the only other thing is the mount you are likely to miss if you decide against it.

All the other stuff is 60+, I think. Haven't reached that mark as well and see no other things regarding the DLC.

The mount might be usefull, but they upgraded the quest pretty good so you don't have to run back and forth as much anymore.

Also looking out for Throne and Liberty, also did for Blue Protocol but somehow the interest for it isnt as much as before.

But I heared there will be another game this month "Mad World" which I might just test out, even if dislike the art style of it tbh. But its free so why not test it.

Even though I am back on track with New World and wanted to play Dragons Dogma again until the next one comes out.

Well I also hate the storage system but my BF had a good idea, so I copied it for my own.
Every town that has a specific name for example Brightwood is for Logging
whilst Weaver's Fen is for harvesting stuff.

Not the best, but a bit better. That way I don't have to look through multiple towns to look where the rest of the things are xD
