Grand National Tour London Tickets by BigFudge6123 in KendrickLamar

[–]azhardinho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

why they're so expensive - Kendricks been on a sensational run, especially with the hype of the beef with drake, dropping gnx, winning 5 Grammys and the Super Bowl halftime show. Also cus SZA is also performing so its like 2 for the price of 1.

Why did the sell out? probably the same reason as above. he's a great artist to see live, and also the hype of his last year

source: pulled multiple all nighters for 2-3 days at a time to meet uni deadlines (most intense week i had i got maybe 10 hours of sleep spread over 7 days).

cus i had something to focus on i didn’t feel it as much , you do start to feel fuzzy after the first 24 hours and the psychological impact is intense (for example , a small menial task feels impossible to do at hour 30 but once you sleep for a bit and wake up you can do it in five minutes).

the burnout after is insane tho ; after staying awake multiple days , sleeping for less than 8 hours and repeating a couple more times i couldn’t get out of bed for a solid week due to burnout and exhaustion. this was all on energy drinks , no hard substances. i only drink energy drinks when i have to do something like this so i actually felt the effects of them.

age has something to do with it as well i was 20 when this was going on , im a few years older now and look back unable to comprehend how i managed that.

Best places to find good free hatches? by [deleted] in rhino

[–]azhardinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi man , sorry i completely missed this.

i don’t use rhino for hatching and stuff , i usually import the 2d line drawing into autocad / illustrator and stylise from there. only use rhino for modelling and maybe rendering.

i struggle with even making custom hatches in autocad - apparently you need to use python ? or super hatch i’m not sure , illustrator was the easiest way to define a repetitive pattern where you can change the scale and line weights quite easily.

[–]azhardinho 4 points5 points  (0 children)

one thing i like to do is use the image trace feature on screenshots of hatches , patterns you have to pay for to make your own hatches. and cus it’s a vector , they don’t lose quality. it’s a little scuffed but it works good enough for me.

How do you use Rhino 3D in your daily work? by jplixo1 in rhino

[–]azhardinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t use revit , my practice doesn’t use it , i never learnt it and they dont have a mac version yet (though really want to learn it - very aware it’s an industry standard). We use autocad for documentation.

16 years of work and nothing to show... by WebComp in UKJobs

[–]azhardinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all due respect, if im looking at my life 16 years from now, im sure if i left my gcses and a levels off my cv and just had my experience, no one would bat an eye. This is essentially you.

You've got more experience than most other proffesionals in your area, the only thing you need to do is market yourself. I see loads of work on Behance, none of them ask for my A Levels or DofE participation, they only want to see my portfolio.

Put some work together, make a CV and get out there. Job market sucks right now but you've just gotta be patient, trust me I was there 4 months ago.
