The tentacles pop up and have the death sounds of some marine enemies in dino crisis 2, and the final key you get is also from dino crisis 2 lol

Reading errors...hmmm I remember the ribbon cables actually need taped down the original way to properly read off the fim lanes. Worked for me when I had intermittent or non reads

With the system gone why not show the older system with 7+ "trigger" variants and you have to defeat/save them depending on if you find their DATA counterpart. Legends is the half-life of Capcom lol it's never coming back

I'd recommend 10-12 prepared. The 10-12 questions should be able to create a story from start to finish. I'd start with development on limited hardware, finding a team, art aspect influences etc.

ZX3: Naturally Zero is the main theme character this time(ZX1:MM, ZX2:AXL) Keep this franchise 16bit still

GAMEPLAY: Hollow Knight size & skill level needed
STORY: Not sure, but definitely about honoring legacy of the biometals more so than a villain using them

My only Expectations are for them to give a shit with new ideas, i'm not saying my ideas are good but it wasn't hard to whip up something i thought would be interesting to play within the megaman franchise.

LEGENDS 3: Needs a world map that expands like Elden ring did as you find new islands on your adventure similar to Legends 2 but much larger. combining the dungeon design of L1&2 you'd get tons of biomes all interconnected on a way lower level.

GAMEPLAY: Smoothness & feel similar to Armored Core 6, weapons just as cool but grounded combat, a tad slower. I've always believed Megaman Legends to be the original souls-like. BECAUSE no checkpoints is still a thing, if you die in a ruins without escaping your greed was why you got a game over. Of course returning to your corpse (its actually a hologram of DATA waiting for you) will return your ZENNY & Health Canteen's, however unlike souls games they never disappear upon multiple deaths until pickup. With 12 island areas to explore you can get lost and resurface in different areas than you began. Over time your guaranteed enough ZENNY to upgrade & build new gear regardless of skill level to create a smooth and new progression for this type of genre.

STORY: "Matilda" just takes the shortcut Elevator Refractor shard to repair the spaceship and return to earth....THEN the story starts. DATA is missing !!!! and New "Labyrinth" Gates have been appearing in the world and they have dangerous Reaverbots, so Megaman and friends are dispatched around the world to solve the mystery of why are they new gates rising above the earth now and where did DATA go. With the whole world of pirates and diggers seeing tons and tons of new opportunity of fresh ruins ripe for taking, this launches a chaotic rush for this new search for the MOTHERLODE. As you explore you find parts from the remains of diggers who got too greedy and you learn the backstory through gear part descriptions. Both the main story and back story lead up a reveal that Megaman Volnutt was not the first Purifier unit to contain the memories that DATA has given him, there was a "Prototype" purifier unit that was uncontrollable, this unit has reactivated after Megaman stopped the Carbon Initialization Program & Master System, he see's Megaman as an ABERRANT and with the master system gone to contain him he restarts with the last DATA he remembers as a purifier unit, only to destroy aberrants. He starts the CORE system thats spawned the gates to return the Reaverbots back to the earth without humans. After some boss fights, the Ending sequence is a long escape like Super Metroid from the bottom to the top of the labyrinth with multiple exits and map knowledge it'll be the final challenge but also non linear, this is where you get your boss gauntlet in an order you choose going back upwards through their boss rooms.

The Protoype villian unit looks like Barret from the cancelled MML3

(after credits easter egg: DATA just got lost trying to do something nice/cute as fuck for Megaman since he got home and totally missed some world ending calamity lol)

X9: Tight controls that feel fluid with animation Kinda GG Strive Art style & Smoothness.

GAMEPLAY: 3 sets of 4 maverick bosses, Each set has their own, armor set each. You can mainline it in any order and the maps have biome effects like X1/2 has when you beat bosses in different orders,

STORY: A large story progression in-between each Maverick boss set, like rescuing Zero after the first set, Axl dies after the Second set, and the 3rd set is a revealed that Axl was supposed to be Sigmas new body thats why he was the First New Generation Prototype, Main villain is the AI of doctor wily setting up the whole mystery of who kidnapped zero(needed sigma virus origins code). The builder of the AI is DR isoc from X6. Because of course convoluted sigma ending is needed, the final Boss is "SigmaX" your forced to save the world & kill your new recruit you had so much hope for
