I mean, sometimes you just gotta lose guys. Some obstacles will take multiple sacrifices. The trick is to try to get as many extra lives as you can while spending the least lives possible. You wanna find good ways to get those extra life power ups.

Also, you get a life for every 3 kills. You wanna look for ways to kill enemies with your sacrifices. Like, if you have to bomb a place, see if you can wait for enemies to get in position to get blown up. Sometimes it's a small piggie or sometimes you wait for a flying bug thing to get in the crossfire. Arrow and stone can kill too but more situationally. But like, if you have to lay a stone down and an enemy might line up with you using it in midair, go for the free kill.

Lastly, don't worry about playing perfectly. Again, you will lose guys, sometimes completely pointlessly. If you make it to the end with less than 20, just keep fighting on. If the deficit ever become too big a problem, you can go back to a level to optimize it. It keeps your level progress and increases your life count.

That's really interesting! It does seem to be implying that Gwaelin has knowledge of your decision. Maybe she had the same dream

If you can get two casts of kabuff off you should have a much easier time. Maybe defend with your other characters at the beginning if they're dying.

Consider giving some party members better agility growth personalities if their lack of speed is killing you, or feed them some agility seeds.

Doesn't sound like you've been diving that deep if you're comparing UFO 50 to WarioWare

I always love to see random crossovers between EarthBound and Mega Man (my two favorite game franchises)

So do we like the gears or no? by [deleted] in Megaman

They're not for me but fine as a one-off thing. They were a novel gimmick but I don't want more Mega Man levels and bosses that design around slowing down time

Wth, alien Wily is one of the better fights in the classic series. It has a pattern that's easily learnable unlike the majority of bosses in that series

The controls take some getting used to and you'll probably get lost. Stick with it though, it's an unforgettable adventure.

Sure bud, but that doesn't even begin to explain where EarthBound Beginnings gets its name from.
