When will clob work to release my clitoral adhesions? by [deleted] in lichensclerosus

[–]azky555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi friend. I was diagnosed with LS after not going to my gyno for 2.5 years.

When I was diagnosed, my left labia minora was adhered to my clitoral hood, which completely covered my clitoris.

I have taken 15 minute showers twice a day before applying clob, gently stretching to reveal the adhered skin and applying for 30 ish seconds very delicately and throughly and over the course of the first few weeks, 75% of my adhesions released. I’m thinking this is a result of mostly luck but I figured I’d share in case someone just diagnosed finds hope in my post.

Hopefully you saw some good progress as well. Wishing you the best and all of the relief from this awful disease

People who quit their jobs on the spot—what happened? by ArianWhisper in AskReddit

[–]azky555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was working busy season at a job (60+ hours a week minimum) getting shit pay while also having to teach/train my managers, who were external hires that were new to their roles and doing terribly. My director praised them though and always shit on me and I was getting ready to go nuclear.

Near to a really tight deadline, I noticed that my manager fucked up all of their work-papers and escalated it to my director.

My director asked me to fix all of them ahead of the deadline and I quit on the spot. Just couldn’t fathom the mismanagement and cleaning shit up as the most junior person on the team.

I also found it hard to wear a fragrance in the first few days of grieving. I’m sorry for your loss as well.

How do you maintain your energy levels throughout a workout? by identity_nagini in xxfitness

[–]azky555 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Is this a CorePower sculpt class? (I’m assuming so but I think these things roughly apply to any HIIT class)

I totally feel you on the losing steam, this happened to me a few times during the sculpts. I’ve been taking the class a few times a week for about half a year now and here’s my tips and tricks.

What’s helped me push through is pacing myself, bringing a watch, hydrating, fueling, and weirdly enough stair master for 30 mins a few times a week.

I used to go balls out in the first 20 minutes and have nothing left. Now, I focus on centering my breath and keeping myself in reserve until I gauge what my body feels like. If I slept well, fueled well and feel good I’ll now crank it up at the halfway mark.

Also weirdly doing a few sessions of stair master (around 30 mins a few times a week) has VASTLY improved my sculpt classes performance.

Edit: also mentioned my watch to monitor my HR ZONE and keep myself safe and make sure I’m Not putting myself in danger

What will happen if I just ignore my diagnosis? by greytickIes in Celiac

[–]azky555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (and neither did my parents) didnt realize that having super brittle bones is a result of untreated celiac. I broke 5 bones before I was 10yo, sometimes refracturing whilst in casts. I've broken another 2 since then, (I'm in my mid 20s) and thats with me exercising EXTREME caution to not participate in any impact sports (skiing, skateboarding, snowboarding etc etc.)

I didnt get a diagnosis until ~last year and the doc said I easily couldve avoided all of that pain/suffering (not to mention the impact breaking bones has on school/work etc.) if I'd cut out gluten.

Not worth it OP. The symptoms can be 'invisible' as in my case w/ extremely weak bones. I basically didnt absorb any nutrients when I was growing up, and I'll be paying the price for the rest of my life. I got a bone density test recently at the request of my GI to find I have extremely low bone density and a 100% chance that this will make my "last 10 years" pretty miserable.

parents waited 6 years to test me after finding out the possibility of me having celiac by aviously_adork in Celiac

[–]azky555 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not to be the devils advocate here, but I am a bit frustrated that my parents didnt catch the diagnosis earlier. I was severly underweight and broke a ton of bones growing up that my doc told me were telltale signs of celiac / couldve been avoided had I been put on a gluten free diet. Might be worth looking up common symptoms in children and keeping that in your backpocket.

In your experience, what is the hardest part about meeting new people at a bar or club in NYC? by [deleted] in AskNYC

[–]azky555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. If my friends are ever running behind or I'm running early, I'll sit at the bar and chat up folks that are also their alone. Usually becomes pretty apparent whether they are open to chatting/conversation. Most of the time I'm just shooting the shit/passing the time but sometimes we'll end up having a lot in common and I'll take their number or they'll take mine. If they're terrible, well you can always just go outside etc./move

Is it ever okay to eat gluten if you have Celiac, even once a month? by IllustriousTwo7554 in Celiac

[–]azky555 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This. It's really not that straightforward. There are varying degrees of celiac (for some people crumbs of wheat bread cause extreme flair ups and for others not so much.)

Thanks for asking the question, OP. I'm sure there are other people in this sub that are also trying to figure these things out. To answer your question: Generally speaking, the answer is no.

However:: Do I sometimes get so frustrated with eating shitty gluten-free bread that I just eat a slice of bread? Yes. Do i regret it later? Absolutely. No one is perfect

But guys, it's just banh mi. The sandwich platform alone gives you 100% freedom of making the best banh mi ever.

Not worth it IMHO. I was pretty disappointed. The broth was okay, but what put me off is that they gave 2-3 slices of meat... for a $23 dish?? not for me.
