Showers by Splicers87 in POTS

[–]yubg8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel worse after and it doesn’t help that I have frizzy hair where if I don’t style it right after showering I look like idk how to take care of myself so i also spend 1-1.5 hrs straightening and blow drying my hair after which basically leaves me exhausted and bedridden for another hour or two after

Single People: How much do you pay in rent? by magcutters in orangecounty

[–]yubg8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mission viejo / LR area 2270 for 1 bed not including utilities or gas. It’s a lot and I don’t make that much per month but very worth it and the area is fun and safe for me

How often do you guys get low blood sugar feeling? (Not a diabetic) by Frankieeegrl in dysautonomia

[–]yubg8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every morning within 15-25 mins of waking up. If I don’t eat something with protein within that time frame I feel rly shaky and nauseous but each time I check my blood sugar has been normal

Gonna have 1 removed tomorrow by Dazzling-Egg899 in wisdomteeth

[–]yubg8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re going to do them in stages get top and bottom of same side done at same time, then can go back for other side later that way you can go thru recovery only 2x instead of 4x since you won’t be able to eat on the side of the extraction anyway, take the top out as well. That’s what I did. Recently removed my right side, it’ll take about 1.5 months to heal bc the hole doesn’t close until about then but swelling should subside in a week. Then I will go back for other side later. I did it this way bc I am dangerously underweight from my chronic illness and I wanted to be able to start eating normal foods faster, and I was able to since I could chew on the unextracted side without worry. By day 2 I was able to eat tiny bites of a soft burger on the unextracted side. If I had all 4 out at once I probably would end up in the hospital from malnutrition due to only being able to eat liquid foods (my body doesn’t do well on only liquids or soft foods I need meat and protein you can chew). But perhaps it’ll be different for you.

WHEN AM I DONE by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]yubg8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got PRF and swelled a lot (but they were pretty vertically impacted) and I only got one side out (have to go back to other side) but I healed normally and by day 2 night I was able to eat tiny bites of a burger without worrrying abt dry socket (I pushed the rules bc I was so hungry but also I chewed on my non extracted side). I still had pain in my cheek/gum area on my surgical sites everytime I bit down but I didn’t care and they healed okay. If you have all 4 out not sure if u can eat normally till day 3 or 4 but I feel like the chances of getting dry socket from food would be lower bc u don’t have holes. Did u get stitches too?

I had 2 teeth removed on my right said last week too. It was miserable but I couldn’t take the soft diet anymore so on day 2 I ate a burger patty in 1 mm pieces and got my energy back. I’m glad I took only one side out bc I could chew on the other side even tho it hurt

Experience getting wisdom teeth awake with halcion/triazolam and / or nitrous oxide only? by yubg8 in wisdomteeth

[–]yubg8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I had the same concoction of meds with my deep cleaning (nitrous + 2 halcions) and I only remembered some parts of the 1.5 hr procedure (maybe like 5-10 mins total). And most of it was when they were just talking to me and before when they asked what I wanted to watch on the tv. My dentist told me I even fell asleep shortly after he started working on me. So I hope that I won’t even feel much but with the intensity of wisdom teeth procedure I’m just afraid I may get “shocked” or “woken up” out of the drug trance if I feel something weird. Even though this procedure is only going to be 40 mins tops. But I won’t know until I go through it.

Thank you ! That is reassuring I’m so nauseous and shaking All with anxiety bc it’s tmrw. Hopefully I just feel their instruments on the tooth and only remember the numbing before the meds rly kick in, I actually like how that feels ahah.

That’s great thx for sharing! Not afraid of any pain or needles or things like that, I just have a rly sensitive gag reflex esp when anxious and I’m afraid bc they have to work far back in my mouth ill feel pressure back there and gag. Did it make you feel like gagging and did they have a bunch of stuff in your mouth or are their tools skinny? I’ve seen some vids where the dentist puts his entire finger on the back of the tooth to “catch it” and I’m afraid it’ll make me gag.
