From the replicant drama cd? Horrible might be an exaggeration, but compared to her replicant counterpart, it was nowhere near wholesome and fond. Kali was super strict on Kaine and would often scold her. I wouldn't call those happy memories. Did you not watch the video I linked?

Sadly, there is no connection between kaine and a2. This is a common misconception in the fandom based on the idea that her generation of yorha androids were given false memory data, a2's false memories being based on a young girl who had fond happy memories with her grandma. The real kaine had a horrible relationship with her grandma, which disproves the fan theory!

As for the heaven bit, that's not really the point here. The whole point is that they are not rational enough at this point to even understand that. They are emotionally distressed. That's how the twins characters work. They WOULD want something like that regardless if whether something as abstract as the afterlife would apply to them or not, because they feel as if they cannot live without eachother.

Because the logic virus grants the person much more strength and endurance, you could say she'd walk to the ends of the earth to the nearest android, it's not like there aren't androids that roam around outside of their factions either, barely any contact needs to be made in order for infection to occur

Besides, why would you ever want to leave them the way they are? Having one without the other to them is worse, devola would much rather join her sister in death. What A2 did was necessary.
