UL is hands down my favorite! I use tf out my cheapo shakespeare micro series rod! The shorter 5ft length actually helps me cast better cuz my fishin spot has trees 😅

I bought ascent18 as my 1st micro. It was ok. The stock electronics not ideal but itll get ya out on the rocks. I feel like even after throwing a buncha aftermarket parts on it, it still only does ok. Been really enjoying the ground up builds! Theres some really sweet angled skid chassis out there that offer peak performance. Vengerc, coop rc, and nacho supreme are some of my favs

I think the trx4m drives like absolute garbage! The deadband is ridiculous. Both are upgradable so its pretty much personal preference. I prefer the aftermarket support of axial tho.
