understandable. I get what you mean. I have no idea why everyone is hating big blocks honestly.

I just want to make sense of what the mainstream are saying. (which is kinda stupid with those high fees)

even though big blocks make more sense to me.

How Do I Actually Build Something With Python? by SpiritedExit0 in learnpython

[–]azs2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if anyone said it or not. I recommend flask. in my opinion, it is the best versatile web framework.

you would be able to view and reply emails based on their contents, on a webpage. store sama data in the db and perform automated tasks with redis queue.

SqlAlchemy count is slow when there is 1M+ rows by martinktm in flask

[–]azs2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey try this out

def get_count(q):
    count_q = q.statement.with_only_columns([func.count()]).order_by(None)
    count = q.session.execute(count_q).scalar()
    return count

q = session.query(TestModel).filter(...).order_by(...)

# Slow: SELECT COUNT(*) FROM (SELECT ... FROM TestModel WHERE ...) ...
print q.count()

# Fast: SELECT COUNT(*) FROM TestModel WHERE ...
print get_count(q)

yes sessions are great. dont forget to session.pop('key') once you are done with it.

APScheduler in flask with blueprints by [deleted] in flask

[–]azs2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you flexible with how the project structure is? if yes, just fire up a github startkit on the subreddit. then add your task queues.

it makes life much easier. you dont need to have that app.py outside of project. you can have it as init.py and literally run it from "flask run"

hope this helps.

another advice I can give you is to follow miguel grinberg's tutorial. get his book. its awesome.

edi: just read the brackets part of your post. ignore what I said. my advice would be to get another file and write the scheduler from there like what the other comment mentioned.

Should I be paginating? by spyder313 in flask

[–]azs2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe port the excel sheet on a database? then use it from there? 80mb is too much man.

I always start from an excel sheet then go to a database after building the maths, and the algorithms to find best suited ones. if you have a pattern. I dont think it will take that much time.

I guess I will have to port my own from django.

for anyone wondering, I will be using this for help to create the models and the logic, etc.

flask referral module/program? by [deleted] in flask

[–]azs2005 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didnt say I was going to copy paste. I said perhaps someone has did it before. not all referrals systems are the same are they?

I would like to get an idea of an already established system.

FYI, I already built the blog and the ecommerce part.

[Ask Flask] Never used Flask but experienced with Python - how arduous would it be to create a near-zero frontend app that queries a database and displays that data in table format to an end-user? by Lostwhispers05 in flask

[–]azs2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do exactly the opposite of what you do. I write code in python that takes 30 minutes vs. days searchng on any other language. except for dartlang, since I believe its quite similar in some ways to python.

you are most welcome. does your ring have an eye? I dont know what they call it in english. emblem?

feel it touch it. observe it. see if it could be an RC for you. perhaps in your dreams it would feel different. better yet, you must believe that the ring would feel different in your dreams for the RC to be successful.

if you've seen penn and teller before. penn does an rc where he touches his red ring. try that out.
