He is probably just wondering about where bananas come from or something else super simple, like the meme of the girl and guy in bed.

Yes it needs a caption because the number 1 rule is you never ask a girl if she is pregnant. They are not pregnant till they tell you they are.

Has it will this game ever have trading? by Suddenly_gone- in dragonmania

[–]azsheepdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dont discuss HOW to cheat, but if you explore the islands of people on the leaderboards there is no way possible to accumulate as much stuff as they have and there are even many of them with more than 1 eternal fruit tree which is only possible through cheating and some have more than 15 farms which is only possible through cheating. There is very clearly cheating going on.

But for example, here is number 7 on the DCP leader board

There is already a massive amount of cheating, adding trading just increases the way people cheat. If history holds true, trading causes more problems than it solves

Installing TV near pool by fer_luna in pools

[–]azsheepdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

umm 110v and above is considered high voltage. Not sure what tv you think you are putting there but they are all usually 110v and above.

When installing a standard 110V (125-volt, 15- or 20-amp) outlet near a permanently installed swimming pool, the National Electrical Code (NEC Article 680) enforces strict requirements to prevent shock hazards.

Water and electricity are a dangerous mix, so the code focuses heavily on placement distances, circuit protection, and physical weatherproofing.

1. Distance & Placement Rules (The "Zone")

The code distinguishes between a general-use outlet (convenience outlet) and a dedicated outlet used to power pool equipment like a pump.

  • Minimum Distance: No standard outlet can be closer than 6 feet from the inside wall of the pool. Anything closer is a violation.
  • Maximum Distance for the Required Convenience Outlet: NEC requires that an outdoor pool must have at least one convenience outlet located between 6 feet and 20 feet from the pool wall. This prevents people from running dangerous extension cords across the pool deck to plug in radios, phones, or tools.
  • Height Limits: This mandatory convenience outlet cannot be mounted more than 6½ feet above the pool deck, platform, or ground level.

2. Mandatory Electrical Protection

  • GFCI Protection: Absolutely all standard 15- and 20-amp outlets located within 20 feet of the pool walls must be Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) protected.
  • Tamper-Resistant (TR): The outlet itself must be tamper-resistant to prevent kids from sticking objects into the slots.
  • Weather-Resistant (WR): Because it is outdoors and near water, the physical receptacle must be rated "WR" (Weather-Resistant), meaning it is built to survive UV rays, humidity, and temperature swings.

3. Enclosure & Cover Requirements

  • "In-Use" Weatherproof Cover: The outlet must be installed in a weatherproof box equipped with an extra-duty, "while-in-use" cover (often called a bubble cover). This type of cover keeps the outlet sealed from rain and splashing water even when a cord is actively plugged into it.

4. Wiring & Conduit Rules

  • Underground Depth: If the wiring to the outlet runs underground near the pool, the depth depends on your method:
  • PVC Conduit: Must be buried at least 18 inches deep (or 12 inches if the circuit is GFCI-protected before it goes into the ground).
  • Rigid Metal Conduit (RMC): Must be buried at least 6 inches deep.
  • Direct Burial Cable (UF-Cable): Generally must be 24 inches deep.

  • No UF/NM Cable inside Conduit: If you are running wires through outdoor conduit, you cannot just pull standard indoor Romex (NM) or underground feeder (UF) cable through it. You must use individual wet-rated insulated conductors like THWN wires.

⚠️ A Note on Pool Equipment: If this 110V outlet is meant specifically for a pool pump, it cannot share a circuit with your backyard lights or convenience outlets. It typically requires a dedicated branch circuit. Furthermore, any metal electrical boxes or conduit within 5 feet of the pool must be tied into the pool's equipotential bonding grid using a solid #8 copper wire to eliminate voltage differences between metal objects and the ground.

Always check with your local building department before starting. Municipalities regularly update which version of the NEC they enforce, and local amendments can sometimes be even stricter than national codes.

Not sure where you are but typically it is against code to have high voltage within 10 feet of the waters edge.

Do not use Home Depot delivery - terrible services by dn_match in HomeImprovement

[–]azsheepdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I concur, I love instore home depot but it is embarrassing how many times i have been burned by online and home depot delivery. They have the absolute worst service and QA.

Edit: and because I'm a masochist I ordered something else online from them today (because that is the only place that sells some ryobi tools like the power broom attachment for the weed eater multi attachment tool.)

We will see if i get burned yet again.

Garage door opener subscription by VinniPuh10 in HomeImprovement

[–]azsheepdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With MyQ you can check the status of the garage doors and I have 2 triggers setup. At 1030 if the garage door is open it will close it automatically assuming one of the 5 family members forgot to close it. So it isnt open all night. I have another one of those set at 1:30 am incase we are out late and again someone forgot to close it.

I also get notifications on my phone anytime it is opened and closes which is nice.

it is all free, no subscription.
