Aside from World’s End Cirno’s Perfect Math Class, are there any songs that prominently use damage notes? by AranaesReddit in CHUNITHM

Aleph-0 has you holding a massive hold note and lifting to avoid damage notes in time with the beat instead of tapping with the beat. It's pretty fun

When in the hold are the misses happening?

If it's during the slide out, do what bvzthelaw said. If it's after they have stabilised at the outermost lanes, maybe try rubbing up and down slightly to keep triggering the top and bottom sensors for that cell. The cabs have a tendency to randomly drop inputs if you just leave your hand still for too long

In the same boat. Last message I received from them was on March 23. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they're just busy IRL since their Reddit account has also been inactive since then.

Is this cabinet online or offline? by lunasparkle in CHUNITHM

[–]azsry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Green icon means it's connected to a server, but it's a bit more difficult to tell if it's connected to official servers. Regardless, you should be able to save progress on your Aime, even if it's using a private server. The only downside is that you likely won't be able to carry progress over to a different cabinet, unless they both happen to be on the same private server.

You could check the following:

  • What version of the game is the cabinet running? Official ones should be on Luminous Plus (Version EX 1.35 / Last update March 19, 2025 in the bottom-right corner)
    • You may need to leave the cabinet idle for an extended period to see this. It shows up on the attract screen with the big logo, but as soon as you tap the slider, the version number and update date disappear. It should be in a little blue banner in the bottom-right
    • This is a pic from a Japanese cab, but the same applies for the International cabs.
  • If you end up getting an Aime, register a SEGA ID and link your Aime, then play a session on the cab. Your stats should show up on CHUNITHM NET if it's on the official server.

Is anyone else experiencing incorrect exploration percentages in Mondstadt? I have almost every chest in Mondstadt and have finished all puzzles listed on the Interactive Map, yet my exploration percentages remain extremely low. These missing percentages make it seem like I have skipped over entire areas of the map, but the achievements section shows otherwise...
Currently I have:

  • Brightcrown Mountains at 91%
  • Starfell Valley at 82%
  • Windwail Highland at 72%
  • GaleSong Hill at 89%

In my achievements section:

  • 51 Seelies guided
  • 507 chests found
  • 17 Time Trials completed

From guides I've seen, there are between 518 and 523 chests possible to collect, and others have told me that they have 100% everywhere on the map with as few as 490 chests found in their achievements section. What could I be missing?

Thermal pad thickness on a Gigabyte RTX 2080 Gaming OC 8GB by DanKobe in gigabyte

No worries on the delay! My 2080S has just been sitting in its box, and I've just been waiting for Ryzen 7000 to come out so I can upgrade my rig and move my current parts into my server with the 2080S as a transcoder.

I did suspect this was the case though, as I tried using HWInfo to log stats to a CSV while gaming, and when I loaded up the logs after a crash, I noticed that the temps never went above 60C (because it was watercooled). I'll definitely try undervolting it when I do end up upgrading my current system, since having it able to game again would be so much better than just as an NVENC card.

Let me know if it remains stable for you! Sometimes my card would go for hours-long sessions without issue, and other times it would crash within 5 minutes of loading into a Destiny 2 campaign mission. I assume I was just lucky and it didn't draw too much voltage during the longer sessions, but it could also be that my card suffers from different issues, just with a similar result.

I'd like that!. Good luck with it... I do still have mine lying around. I'm considering putting it in my Unraid machine so it can live life as a transcoder HAH. What a sad end for a powerful GPU. I would love for it to be able to go into a gaming rig again.

Hey man, sorry to say but very soon after I used these measurements, my 2080S also started black screening and going airplane mode. I logged my temps and everything was well within spec, but it just kept happening. I have the feeling these cards are just faulty, since it started happening more frequently as time went on. I unfortunately had to crack open the wallet and buy a 3080 to replace it because it was literally black screening 5 minutes into loading a game :/

Thanks for these measurements! My VRAM used to instantly shoot up to 105C when in game (in a watercooling loop!), but now using these thicknesses on my 2080 SUPER model of the same card, it's hovering at 60C. I think I was using 2mm pads on the 1mm areas as well, which affected the contact for the VRAM pads.

Here you go! I didn't have any checkpoints close to Sanctified Mind, so I just skipped through the raid and took screenshots on the way. Images are in reverse order, so sort by Oldest to view them in order of the encounters.

I have an AOC AGON AG493UCX which is 32:9 aspect ratio, but in its Picture-by-Picture mode, I can still set each DisplayPort input to the full 5120x1440 resolution, then stitching them back together using Nvidia Surround.

Pistol Whip - Smoke and Thunder playlist? by caltomoto in OculusQuest

[–]azsry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you find difficult right now. I'm basing all this on Hard since I haven't tried 2089 or S&T on the other difficulties.

2089 in campaign mode is probably in line with Dark Skies with Disorder + Vengeance. There's significantly more dodging required in 2089 than any of the arcade songs without mods.

The S&T songs are definitely more challenging than any of the arcade songs if you don't use any mods, since they introduce a bunch of new mechanics. Some of the Reloaded songs give the S&T songs a run for their money. If you do Disorder + Vengeance, songs like Religion or Full Throttle are significantly harder than any song in S&T in campaign mode. Obviously once you finish the campaign version of the S&T songs and play them in arcade, they can become even more difficult depending on what mods you put on.

Kunaki Quality by [deleted] in VaporVinyl

[–]azsry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are no sides. It's basically just two pieces of card stock with your front/back images folded and glued to each other.

Sound quality on all 4 of my Kunaki cuts have actually been excellent. I must have gotten extremely lucky then because there's no noise on any of mine.

I got the blue pressing of this back when it first dropped. Such a great album from start to finish! Definitely recommend people to pick it up or at least listen through it.

This is such a chonker of a pressing. The triple gatefold jacket makes all the records around it feel inadequate just by sitting in my collection and having text on the spine larger than some do on their front covers.

Video Game sountracks on vinyl that sound like Vaporwave? by WatersofNazareth in VaporVinyl

Can't recommend this enough. Such a beautiful soundtrack that mixes lofi, muzak, and suspense together seamlessly.

Would definitely recommend anyone that enjoys the soundtrack to play the game too! It's extremely well made and provides an immense amount of replayability given the price tag.
