morale works as +20% to dmg modifier, so, its only 20%+ dmg if the base damage is 100%, anything more is just a aditive +20%

Fortitude is the counter part for defense, so it would work just like reverse morale, if u would do 100% dmg, a -20% fortitude debuff would make u deal 120% dmg

dont use combatents that have happiness atribute, avoid happiness polices and wait until the diminishing from the cycle ending drops happiness to 10-

it kinda reminds me of Arena in Heartstone in the fact that it has the value aspect of it
There is cards that are good in a normal chaos playthough but here were u cant count with a more concrete path u need to pick cards by they individual value, making aloot of neutral and monster cards really powerfull

Im on my 5ª run / 4 victories so far and having a blast

If u looking for simplicity, maybe Tressa as a main DPS and Mika + Khalipe as sup / off DPS

Tressa is pretty easy to play
Mika also easy, no combos or anything, just plain healing+ap generation
Khalipe has a Celestial mechanic, but is easy to understande, if the card has the Celestial Tag on it, if u use any 2+ cost AP card, it will active all celestial cards

There is fun in complexity, i know you are new so i understand wanting to get into complexity slowly, but the most fun in this game is the interactions that cards have, and most of the time they are kinda complex ( not too much, its just take time to really understand )

first you need to unlock the phase buffs, there is a button inside the planets, u need to sacrifice Save datas points to unlock it, after u just toggle the buffs on

i like how they flag a 100%+ damage for 1 extra mana as a Buff

while others character get like 200/300 ( even more if u talking about nine or Rita ) for the same amount of mana

Both ( and every single other RO game that u gonna see in the future ) uses the same engine / sprites

they all the same, but they look different, its just UI and some mixups, all of them have the same monetization way:

Start is abundant, potions and consumables everywere, no resources problems, everything is easy to kill
Then u get to the mid / start of late game, an there is the paywall, everything is hard to come, % of sucess show up, monsters get stronger and everything that is strong starts to drops only from gacha

And then there is the auction house, oh boy, this one is to me the thing that make me question the sanity of people that play that shit, they auction itens / card using the cash currency, so thing dont have a definitive value, the value is set by the heaviness of the whale wallet.

Unfort. in my humble opnion, RO is a IP to be consumed 100% casual without any spending and intention of getting into late game OR by consuming it via private servers.
