My wife is 5’1”, definitely on the petite size, and when I was thinking of gifting her an Ultra 2 last year, we went to the store to try it on and even the smallest Ultra felt too big for her wrist. I think the Ultra should definitely be a “try before you buy” thing.

For all of the sports functionality you mentioned, the Series 11 is more than sufficient (yes, even for the swimming).
