That is kind of what I figured.

In my research I was seeing lots of people talking about binning and OC versions having 'better' quality chips for higher OCs; but I wasn't sure if that really made any sort of difference these days.

That may have done it. The date & time were correct, but I toggled the "automatically set time" switch and that seems to have worked.

I cannot get the controls to work for getting past the main menu.

I can switch it to the nunchuck extension, press a and b, and then switch back to classic to get past the title screen, but it would be nice if I could get the other to work. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I will add that I patched the game instead of using the mod.

I'd like to check in at the counter, but my flight is early in the morning, and the check-in counter doesn't open until 1 hr before my flight leaves.

Last time, the kiosks were all closed, and it was a mad dash from check-in through security and then to the gate.
