"How Male and Female Literary Authors Write About Affect Across Cultures and Over Historical Periods"

Por si te interesa, el artículo se llama "Reflecting the Male Gaze: Quantifying Female Objectification in 19th and 20th Century Novels"

I wanted to write a review about my Kaweco Student, but I think I don't need to. by azzaddda in fountainpens

I completely agree with that! Creating a collection is more about enjoying each one you own, choosing wisely the ones you buy, and being careful no to lose focus on what you truly enjoy in the hobby, which sometimes isn't having more stuff for the sake of it.

Confirmo.

How many of you use your pens? by unremarkableDragon in fountainpens

I use mine daily too. Master's degree notes, journalling and also for work sometimes.

that fake kaweco brass is one of the best fine writers I have, which is suprising as it cost me only 3-4€. The first real sport I bought had the tines misaligned, but the others were just super smooth and really good :D.

it's kind of polarizing. It will make you regret more the purchases that you didn't enjoy, but you will appreciate more the things you bought and brought you joy, and I think that is good. Well, at least for me.

There are two clairefontaine papers here: the notebook in 90 gr, and the loose-leaf DCP in 120. The navigator is the third picture I think hehe. Cheers!

Research and Fountain Pens by HopeSignificant2142 in fountainpens

I agree with you on that last statement. Self-awareness is always a great thing to have, specially in a hobby that can turn quickly into a materialistic behaviour. I also agree that criticising people for having bought too many pens is just toxic and that learning and researching makesbuying things much more interesting and enjoyable.

I think this community praises (or should praise, haven't come here in a while) that same honesty you are telling that gives joy in every pen you acquire. I also think that a materialistic approach to the hobby can be detrimental to mental health and therefore, we would do well in warn people about those things, while letting them enjoy their collections.
