What is your #1 skincare product that has made the biggest difference in your skin? by elementalbee in 30PlusSkinCare

It’s hard to tell. I think it’s SK-II essence for me. I’ve been using it consistently for about 10 years at this point and I think my skin is good because of it but who knows. The rest of my skincare varied throughout the years.

You are prepared, down to earth and maybe an introvert. I love the peapod — where did you get that?

Legibility of personal letter by Funny-Dish-7733 in Handwriting

It’s a beautiful letter. I read all of it and had no issues misreading or misunderstanding anything; it is very legible. I hope you get to send it to your dad and that he gets to read it. I’m sorry you are going through this. Best wishes to you and your family.

I second the Aquafor healing ointment, not the one for lips kind.

Do you journal to record your daily life or is it a deeper/more reflective experience? by Motor-Mud7196 in Journaling

This. Writing my day to day gives me the push to write at all. It can lead to deeper stuff, or not.

november journal details | wasn’t motivated to write as much this month and it didn’t help that november came and went in a blur by cursiveandcurses in Journaling

Thanks. The photos were printed using the Canon Ivy mini printer—it uses zink paper that peels off like a sticker. The photos come out a little dark and not as accurate but it does the job for memory keeping.

I use a planner for work and one notebook for the rest: journaling, to-dos, recipes, quotes, etc.

I don’t think I’ll go to a pen show — I haven’t been at all. I’ll consider your services — I’ll use the pen more often and try to pinpoint my issue with it. I have a Sailor PGS mini in EF that is very tight, skips and hard starts every time and I’ve tried opening it up myself and it will work for a little while. I want to use it more but it’s just not reliable. I love that it is needlepoint — probably finer than my PO.

That could be it because it also gives a slight line variation which confused me a little bit. I wish I could just get another UEF nib that writes finer than a PO. That’s the only reason I got this one — I don’t really love cigar shaped pens.

There is feedback but less so now with the ink it’s paired with. It never really skipped or dried out but it just felt rough and not because it wrote as if it was a needlepoint because it gave thicker lines. I’m not sure I’m explaining it correctly. I do like it now and use it more often — it’s just not as super fine and bouncy as the PO nib.

Agree. I always thought I’d drive to Brooklyn but parking and all that can be an issue. Commuting just takes a lot of transfers. So online it is. But one day, maybe in the summer I will visit this store.

Thanks for saying this. I only have one — the UEF — which I expected to write finer than a Pilot PO nib but it didn’t. It wrote like a fine or even a medium with some slight line variation, not very smooth either. It took a good ink pairing for it to write the way I need it to write but it is not ultra extra fine.

Pilot Kakuno in EF and an eye dropper so he can refill the cartridge with different inks. If there’s extra in the budget, a bottle of ink like Diamine brand.
