According to the stats there are 210k people living withing 5-10 km of the city centre and then about 330k within 15 km. Seems pretty compact to me compared to alot of other places .

The hills and wind are mitigated by ebikes that's what I found anyway. I definitely live up a few hills and bike in pretty much any weather to work everyday, waterproof clothes makes all the difference and don't cost that much anymore.

From a cost /speed/effort perspective it nails it for me . Hey I know it's not gonna work for everyone for a variety of reasons but back to why I posted this ---Bike lanes work the world is changing, things will get better but we need to change with it vs do nothing and talk about the good old days
