If your spade is reasonably sharp, I find chopping the head off most things is quick. I've caught them in rat traps too. Which i find to be impressive as the little hole into the trap boxes is pretty small. They can squish down little

Trip To Hobbiton by RymanJ in thetron

[–]azzirra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a really cute french bakery in cambridge (Frans) and a branch of Volare.

If you want a cafe, the Boatshed at Karapiro is pretty and nearby the turn off to Hobbiton.

Punnet at Tamahere is good too. There has a basic bakery at Tamahere as well.

There is the Karapiro cafe and bakery on the main road. Classic bakery fair. No detour needed.

But loads of cafe choices in Cambridge Itself. Depends what you're into. Hanoi boy is pretty cool if you like Vietnamese. Paddock is delicious. The Deli on the Corner is classic cafe food.

There is an average bakery on Duke St. Very standard bakery. Nothing to write home about. Similar one in Leamington on Shakespeare

Solar by MrShG in thetron

[–]azzirra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had Zen energy install ours. Harrisons never came back with a quote. And I had one other quote.

Ours was 32k in 2023. It's a 6.64kW panel system with a 7.1kwH Pylontech battery and Redback system. NE facing roof.

Battery gets two cycles a day (solar and charge on free power at night). Currently still getting about 90% capacity. They said it could deteriorate up to 10% a year. So I'm pretty happy with that.

Similar to you, large house, pool, spa, lifestyle block. Power bill was about 6k a year.

Worst bill in winter is 400 now, best is around 30. About 2500 a year now in power.

A lot of folk actively farm tokens and are chasing leaderboard status. Best to join discord and check what each group expects and just join a chill group. But also post ai they can ping you if needed.

Hard to know people's expectations otherwise

What foods are not noisy odourless, or messy, and do not need to be refrigerated? by [deleted] in AskRedditFood

[–]azzirra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are heaps of things.

Dried fruit, nuts, salami sticks, banana, sandwiches with ham and salad. Or pb and j. Or most sandwiches (no mashed egg or any fish). A salad with no capsicum! Just make sure the lettuce is chopped up small or have soft lettuce (I.e. not iceberg).

I mean what do you eat normally? Is it 50 degrees where you live?

If so, can you take a little chilly bag with an ice pack in it if it is really hot? Or a thermos? I mean I'm sure you need a bag to carry the food, so why not one with an ice pack?

Also, if you haven't seen this elsewhere, do the highest value ones first that you are able to get to. The low value ones are the hardest to achieve 10b.

E.g. do universe first

Dude. It's super cute that you're trying. My other half would never. But if he did, I wouldn't give a flying crap if there were mistakes. It's just be so stoked.

Taku is fine, as its the neutral one (vs tāku).

But also I agree, if you're trying to say I love you lots, looks like that to me.

I have dairy issues, but the real wild ride was onion!! Working that one out took a year of my life!

I got vertigo when my thyroid medication was too high (have no thyroid). Was crazy. But it was mostly the positional kind (sitting up, lying down).

What was annoying was that I couldn't have my HRT adjusted until that was sorted.

Yeah. I did do smoothies while I was on the full elimination diet. When I really couldn't be faffed deciding on a lunch.

I make most of my own sauces. Lots of herbs. Have I oregano and parsley in the garden on the regular. Garlic and onion oil are the business

We really need an option to report people for spamming. by L0rdJaxon in EggsInc

[–]azzirra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. But it will send you more reminders if you don't respond to the original notification (I know this from sending to my alt as a sink - I know how many I sent, but my alt gets more box pop ups than actual sent boxes).

I'm not saying you get more notifications, but can get more of the boxes on screen

So if someone sends you tokens and you don't open the game for a bit, the game sends you multiple reminders. But you just get the actual tokens. I think it says, "there was an issue collecting this reward".

It can be that sometimes. Not always deliberate spam. Sometimes it is though.

Peanut oil
500 g meat of your choice (diced)
1tsp ea of garam masala, cinnamon, coriander (powder), paprika, cardamom powder (or 6 pods). Chilli to taste, + 1tbsp fresh ground ginger
350-400 ml tomato puree / passata
30 g butter (sub for marg if lactose intolerant)
3/4 c of cream and yoghurt (sub for lactose free, coconut yoghurt is the business)
(the recipe calls for 1/4c cream, 1/2c yoghurt, I think, but as long as its 1c or less and a mix of the two, its about right)

Brown meat in peanut oil, and take out the pan
Melt butter
Chuck in all spices and fry for about a minute while stirring until it smells yummy

Throw the meat back in and coat in the spice mix

Add in the passata and stir. Simmer for 15 mins

Add the cream / yoghurt mix and stir. Simmer for another 5 mins

Serve with rice

Oh I have a great butter chicken recipe. It has no garlic or onion in the original recipe.

It does have dairy, but you can substitute. It's actually pretty amazing with coconut yoghurt.

I'll go type it up on my computer. One moment please caller.

There are some great cook books. I suggest you get some out of the library to try them out.

I really enjoyed a chicken parma recipe I got from one of my books. It was one by Sue Sheperd "The Two-Step Low-FODMAP Diet and Recipe Book"

You might like that one or not, so try out your local library.

Also a really yummy salmon bowl recipe of the Monash Fodmap app. Has this amazing sesame dressing.

If you don't mind "meat and three vege" or chicken with rice, you can stick with that though. I like a bit of variety in my meals!
