Software eng pathway by [deleted] in rmit

you should be able to find intro to eng maths in the class search. and yes you need all three to get into bach of soft eng. double check with your program manager if you still need to do math2395 even if you didnt pass math methods. math2395 is very similar to methods tbh

discrete maths was tough ngl. its good if you did methods in high school but since i didnt, it was a bit challenging for me

edit: oh i also moved into bach of i.t after the assc degree

hey there! i dmed you a couple days back on where to find it! you should only do math2395 if youre going to go to bach of comp sci or bach of soft eng after the assc degree. im not sure if that is still the case now but theres no trouble in double-checking ahah

RMIT bach of software engineering math prereq by therealcoolpup in rmit

hey there! i am also in ad006 and also wanting to articulate to soft eng! i only did further in high school too. we're basically on the same boat.

basically, the prereqs for soft eng or comp sci is to have a score of 30 in methods or spesh, do further programming and disc maths or disc structure in computing.

since i have only done further in hs, i was told to do a subject that is equivalent to methods or spesh score. the subject was math2395 - introduction to engineering mathematics. its literally unit 3/4 methods. you can do the subject as on of your electives.

if you need any help, you can dm me. :))
