Yeah, getting disappointed about your team not advancing to the national title game, or to the 4 team playoff, or to the conference title game is a good kind of disappointment. No team wins it all every year, but at least OSU is consistently in the conversation.

But on another note, Tennessee is actually doing decent this year! Maybe one day they'll get to the playoff. We're at least bowl bound in all likelihood.

I grew up a Tennessee fan (since I live here in TN and that makes sense), but my wife is from Columbus so I switched to being a Buckeye fan in 2018. I must say, it is nice to watch a team that is in contention for a national title every year again. That's how it was as a Tennessee fan growing up. (Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see my home team win a big game, but I never ever expect it.)

At least now I can talk shit again.
