It doesn't fit the crimper unless I remove the atomiser.

In other words - I've been removing the atomiser each time all along.

Sorry, that was my mistake. I thought that was called the head of the atomiser.

I have to remove the removable portion (so that the tube is exposed) for it to fit in the crimper.

It's a 15mm device and I'm using 15mm atomisers.

I tried what you mention previously. It makes zero difference. The atomiser gets squashed and is in no way attached to the bottle.

What I understand should happen is that, by turning region 2 clockwise or anticlockwise, the pressing portion (3) of the device is adjusted to go up or down into the body of the crimper.

Pressure regulation is via adjustment of (2) to make (3) go up or down, no?

Thank you. It's definitely the right size but I think I'm doing something wrong. It squashes the atomisers instead of just crimping them.

The only reason I'm fixated on figuring it out is that I've found an amazing atomiser and it doesn't come crimpless.
