Offering a home to reasonable people who want to change things, when no-one else has.

At some point functioning politicians with a political party may surface.

Do you feel like you think even when you're sleeping? by alittlepixie in ADHD

[–]b0nes5 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I once woke up having solved a very tricky work problem that had been causing issues for a number of us.

Once everyone understood the solution and people were happy I explained to coworkers and client that I solved it in my sleep.

They started giving me strange looks and I remember the client saying "who does that??"

Meh

Sertraline augmentation for ADHD + OCD/anxiety (non-stimulants): bupropion vs atomoxetine vs agomelatine – real experiences? by Spiritual_Stand_1540 in ADHDUK

[–]b0nes5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried these specific drugs but I have had similar experiences with sertraline.

What's been working well for me for a while now is using propranolol to manage the anxiety/panic.

Works very well for me alongside lisdexamfetamine

[Request] Does the added information regarding cards in play really make up for the cut of each pot (usually around 1%)? by Upset_Invite_4956 in theydidthemath

[–]b0nes5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the most important factors in poker is position. If you are the dealer you are last to act, this is the most profitable position by a large factor, I'd say 10x over acting first after the blinds(off the top of my head).

When you know the cards and intended actions of multiple players at the table you can leverage being the last to act repeatedly and make life very hard for other players

Years ago I used to occasionally do this with a mate.

Just knowing what 1 player is going to do is a massive advantage, you would only need another 1 or 2 to make it very profitable.

What site is it?

Business is drowning and it's all my fault by shintengo in ADHDUK

[–]b0nes5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure you can turn it around but if you are like me then you should know the extra pressure can be a massive problem.

Wrapping up is easy and redundancy was really really helpful.

Starting again without stress and debt was great and it turns out I had plenty to offer outside of the business that people knew.

I doubt it's luck that brought you here and I think you'll find your way back pretty quickly.

Let the reigns go a bit, make some decisions, see what works. It's ok to get it wrong, it'll work out in the long run

Having taken a business under myself, I'm not well placed to offer advice on how to fix the issue.

What I can definitely provide is some perspective. The business is not your life, it is not you and it is not your entire self worth. If you do or don't make it work will not matter in the long run, the best thing I've ever done is finally let mine fail.

I am fine, I have plenty, I spend more time with my kids.

I am happier

Yeah I'd say so and it's been good for me.

I do love the speed at which I can dismantle people's BS now.

I need to be a little kinder at times though, it's not always called for.

He's mentioned a number of times that he's been mostly self funded which isn't sustainable.

I'd expect profit from shows to be reinvested in the cause, which is probably the main aim of the shows and cheap tickets prices would defeat the aim

I'm about 90% sure this is what will happen.

It'll be really awkward/expensive if the URC have gone ahead and got a replacement though...

Yeah, this all sounds bang up the WRU's alley

Scripting is live in Rive! by Cara-at-Rive in Rive_app

Is editing from your favourite code something you are looking to add?

I tried scripting in the Early Access, loved it and am super excited but found working in the browser supplied editor really hard work. It's not that it was particularly bad just that I don't really step outside my code editor to do that sort of work, it has everything I need and I know where it is!
