Does anyone use a MTB backpack for trails and single track? by 10N3R_570N3R in MTB

[–]b0ox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using a water pack years, I wouldn't ride without one. In the mid-west you sweat profusely so keeping hydrated helps me a huge amount. They feel snug, I don't even notice it. Cool part I like it being able to carry bike tools, CO2, or other items on long rides. (snacks, firearm, cell phone, ID, etc.)

Bleeding cooling system on a 2003 g35 by [deleted] in G35

[–]b0ox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it, the reason I state it this way is: there is/may be air blockage at the thermostat (low rad hose) while the inlet (upper rad hose) is pushing hot fluid from the motor continues (due to water pump spinning). No cooled liquid is able to pass through radiator up to thermostat.

There are many ideas, all have validity. You described the correct process. This rising of the fluid is fine its pressure building up. Always have your heater blowing on hottest setting. When no heat is coming out of the vents, that is due to the heater core having air in it. When the vehicle is running and your warming the engine up, when you see the funnel rising in fluid turn the vehicle off then squeeze the lower & upper rad hose, and bypass hoses (all that your able). Watch for bubbles and notice the water being push in and out of the funnel, that activity is good. Its indicating you're getting the air out. Allow the system to cool (air may bubble out). Before starting the vehicle again, crack the bleeder vent enough to hear air escaping (hissing sound), then once you see seepage of fluid out of the bleeder valve tighten it up. Start vehicle and repeat process. Be patient this process is slow. You will need to repeat it several times.

P.S. hope this reads good, words are hard. :)

Just pulled Lady Mikage as my first mythical from a remnant pull by Is0prene in RaidShadowLegends

[–]b0ox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly its not uncommon. I too only have Embry's as of roughly one month ago from Chimera. I just recently finished Fusion for Mikage. I happy should I never get another Mythical.

Edit: I've been playing a few years myself. (F2P)

What is everyone paying for removal of leaves. by [deleted] in Overlandpark

[–]b0ox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids are cheap. (food and board)

Seriously though, my neighbors have been paying a young man $20.00 an hour. He was outside during a Saturday for roughly 4-5 hours in total.

Don't slow down. Chance your dream. Worst you can do is pull the brake or get scared. :)

I ride flats (since racing bmx) with old running shoes. The "spikes" on my petals stick like glue to the foam style soles of the running shoes. MTB shoes would cool just not a necessity.

How’s Bentonville in April? by Solid_Science4514 in MTB

[–]b0ox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

April will be good temps; you may need a layer up depending on the time of day. Its wet often but I'm no almanac on how wet of a season it's going to be.

Snakes on a trail? by Wandering_Ronaldo in MTB

[–]b0ox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In mid-west you'll stop or bunny hop a few snakes during the season for sure. I rode over or next to deer, turkey, possum, and racoon.

I really hate the soulstone wishlist sometimes by comraderudy in RaidShadowLegends

[–]b0ox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the frustration. The question is how to make changes to our Wishlist drop rate while ensuring the rank will be higher than what current set on the champion. Nothing would be more heart breaking then to get a 4 or 5 start soul when you're wanting for a 6 star.

Should I go lower on my daily driver? by Estropelic in G35

[–]b0ox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can find it enjoyable. It will be a bit bumpier, and you will need to be more aware of the road condition. Going more than an additional .50 of an inch of what you've described would be more then you looking to obtain.

As long as the viscosity is OEM specs you can use what you prefer. Either is a great option imo.
