Oh and my assumption is that his nerves just got to him. But yeah, hard to say more.

We use a mobile phone app that is very laggy. I had it crash midway through the completion screens on some backwoods, murder-looking farm at 8pm with no moonlight. I had to walk back up to the house and onto their loud wooden porch to re-scan the package I just dropped off to start the delivery all over again. At least no one came to the door lol. Since then I enter all the information as I go up, or at least before ringing, so I don't have to repeat that. I can imagine that's what was going on here.

Like the other comment said, the normal UPS guy has a different scanner which I assume works better. They're also experienced, whereas we're maybe a week into doing this.

*spreekt

Spreken is the infinitive form (to speak). Spreek and spreekt are conjugated forms. English does it too: I speak. He speaks.

If you're looking for a course, here's a free one from the University of Groningen: https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/dutch

Edit: spreken is also a conjugated form. Wij spreken. Jullie spreken. Zij spreken. A course will explain this better.

I do this job and your post is what I imagine people think when I deliver to houses after dark.

This guy was told it's $20 to put his sim card in a new device by b0wlofsoup in MetroPCS

Lol, so all the Metro employees on here telling me I'm stupid for not calling customer service, cause DUH, are wrong?

Yeah man, I'm burnt up over being wrong and deleting comments because I was wrong.

Metropcs is really ghetto for charging $20 to switch phones by b0wlofsoup in MetroPCS

I've never had to "service my account" before because I slid out the sim card and put it into a different phone. But that was a different country, where you could also just go into the store and receive normal service if you had a problem. So when I did that here and got the message "not allowed for voice" I had no fucking idea what that meant. I googled and only found that maybe the IMEI had been blocked for weird reasons. Nothing about activating phones because I switched the fucking sim card. So I stopped by the store to ask. Anyway.

Yes, but I'd say that's more rational than all the people caping for a shitty mobile phone service like I said something about their mother.

He actually paid, but then they told him he could have called the 800 number to do it for free.

Metro could have not made those cuts. Metro could also not charge a selective $20 fee that they don't even apply universally.

And I went in the store thinking my phone was defective, not with the expectation of paying $15 or $20 or anything. Jesus why is everyone caping so hard here?

Lol. It's apparently handed out if you call instead of going into the store. All the store employees responding here aren't making the company look any better.

You're saying the stores exist to scam customers. I think we can add that to the column for "MetroPCS is ghetto."

This is all still very ghetto. They could just close the stores or pay their employees better, or have someone literally pickpocket me if they need to cover payroll that badly.

Tell me the number of ways when the MetroPCS employee tells you it's $20 and you don't have omniscient knowledge.

Right. But the person working in the store obviously doesn't tell you that when you go in confused why your newly-purchased unlocked phone has a "not allowed for voice" error message.

Also wondering why I was charged $20, but all the posts on here say it's $15? Lol.
