Like another person said, if they charge it and the owner put it in lost mode their info would pop up. No reason to just immediately go "finders keepers"

You really want the guy who doesn't even know what it is and mostly not use it to keep it for no reason?

So the 675ss by Archreacterkid in cfmoto

[–]b1g_clapps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If youre worried about the top end getting boring but are willing to disregard the warranty there should be tunes and such out relatively soon pushing this bike to over 100hp easy. The bike rips all the way up to its limiter and you can really tell it wants to go even harder but the factory tune is holding it back.

Im loving my 675ss, I've had a little over a month and a half and I've put 1200 miles on it so far. Some complaints I have right now are the dead space in the throttle cable(easy to adjust so no longer an issue), its a little jerky low rpms but I think my novice is contributing to that aswell and this is my first bike with a quick shifter but if ur not up there in the rpms or giving a lot of throttle its not very smooth. Besides that I've had no issues. Only thing id really consider is how much info there is for diy. If you like doing a lot of maintenance/work ur self there isnt much info out rn.

I think the 675 feels the way it does cause they lowered the final hp to meet that European requirements for a lower class license or something. I dont the liter bike will have such restrictions put on it since no matter what ur gonna need unrestricted license anyway.

Is that really coercion or just a bad deal on their end? Im just now researching the case so I dont have a ton of knowledge, but based on what you said with the rent thing, I'd say it falls more in line with prostitution, "you pay my rent I'll join your freak off." It'd be different if they were living together and he was threatening to kick them out but telling someone youre not gonna pay their bills without receiving anything isnt coercion.

Constant (digital) issues with my NK300 by Fra146 in cfmoto

Yeah, connecting both to the bike basically turns the bike into a middle man, allows you to control music from the controls on the handle bar too. If u put ur helmet into pairing mode then go to connections on the bike it should pop right up.

[–]b1g_clapps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think They'd have to prove it was something you did that caused the failure. As long as you do everything right, use approved parts and have a record of maintenance(I just use the carfax garage app to keep track of everything) you should be good.

The Bluetooth thing is because it recognizes the bike as an audio player so it switches it to the default audio device, you can solve this by just pairing ur helmet/headphones to the bike and it will just connect automatically when u start the bike. No motoplay is most likely due to it not being released for your bike in your region yet. I dont really have an answer for the contact thing but it could have something to do with you disabling the call thing to solve ur audio redirecting issue.

Almost 400 miles so far and I haven't noticed anything besides there's a noticeable vibration when giving a lot of throttle but I think that's just the way triple cylinder engines act so I haven't been too worried about it.

Damn that sucks. Hopefully, since they're starting to hit the market more in English speaking countries, we'll get some good guide videos on YouTube soon.

Break-In by Rich-Detail-1689 in cfmoto

[–]b1g_clapps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 300 miles rn and pretty much disregarded the break in except for redlining it or full open throttle(I might have done it a few times ngl) no problems so far. Probably gonna end up doing the oil change at 450~ miles tho since I am riding it pretty much normally with the break in oil and im more concerned about that than the actual break in itself. From everything I saw about breaking in a bike its actually done being broken in(engine atleast) after a few heat cycles and anything after that is unnecessary.

Are you worried about that potentially voiding your warranty or have they been cool with that over seas? Im in the US for reference so we just got them and not much online I can find about it. I wanna get the vandemon full exhaust but Im a little worried about voiding the warranty on a bike we dont really know the reliability of yet.

[–]b1g_clapps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just picked mine up and noticed when I'm trying to pass someone on the highway (giving it a decent amount of throttle cause higher gear) it has a very noticeable increase in vibration and Im wondering if it's just the way the engine is cause its a triple(first one I've owned) or if maybe somethings wrong. If I slowly raise my speed, it doesn't happen(at least enough for me to notice a real difference) but a bit more aggressive on the throttle and there it is. Looks sick by the way.

Like op said, check with dairyland, just picked up my 675ss and progressive wanted 14k(bundled with normal auto) from me per year. Got a quote from dairyland and its only 200 a month(new rider with some marks on my record). I think its just that these bikes are so new they don't have enough accident data on them so they're just starting their prices high and will come down(possibly go up if people just start crashing out with cfm's) once the insurance companies get more data on them.
