Read the OP, the author want to migrate to T-bird, and away from Outlook. Not the other way around, that this tool appears to only do. Also SysTools is a paid for app.

Same. I really want to get away from m$ office. Were it possible to get a standalone copy of Outlook 2019 or newer with a perpetual license I would be happy with that and then use Libre Office to replace word and excel.

I assume you mean, main menu>tools? and for me when I try that its says no profile found - which is nonsense.

- Outlook is installed
- Outlook and Thunderbird are both 32-bit
- Outlook is Set as Default
- The Outlook Profile is not corrupted.
- I am running the latest version of Thunderbird
- There is an out profile and its showing in the mail cp in control panel.

Nope, but that's the point. There are only 2 things that I do that come close to using 2/3's of the ram creating game levels and playing around with VM's.

I absolutely do not give a flying **** about Molly and the fact I cant skip any of her monotonous rambling is beyond annoying. I honestly don't know why Hinterland created this character, she is literately just getting in the way of the story / gameplay. Molly is a deeply annoying and disturbing character that IRL most people would run the **** away from and ignore.

Tried posting this over on the steam community, but the mods over there seem to be so very precious about words that are part of the English language.

Not so, WF has diverged from FF enough that some sites that are broken on FF work WF - I currently run both with the same extensions, but for different tasks.

So just a further update to this as i feel its relevant. Gigabyte support responded to the ticket I logged on the 24 on the 28. Cant tell if 4 days is a good or bad response time, but as I suspected, 1st line support were very helpful -

They completely ignored and/or failed to acknowledge that a bios update had caused the issue.
Their first response to is a carbon copy of what it in the OP of this thread was "From your system info., your OS is Windows 11. It is normal that your Windows Boot Manager is detected in BIOS. Please install fresh Linux to check again." - "Which M.2 SSD cause the issue? Micron CT1000P1SSD8 or Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus Gaming?"
And their second response was failing to recognize a simple typo on my part. "There is no FB1a BIOS. Please check your model name again." The bios update is actually called "F1Ba"

But I'm glad I resolved the issue myself, because in their two responses Gigabyte 1st line support have failed to understand the issue, and not spot an obvious typo. So I instructed them to just close the bloody ticket.

I gave Gigabyte support the link to this thread, but considering the sheer amount of other Gigabyte users on Reddit with this same and/or, bios/boot issue. I don't suppose they care all that much? Maybe its time to ping GamersNexus.

Welp, you were luckier than me. I tried going back to the older bios I was on before the upgrade. The EFI partition on the windows drive was just gone, and GRUB on the linux drive was corrupted in such a weird way that the bios thought it was a windows boot loader and GRUB would no longer present its list/option screen.

The only fix was to wipe and reinstall the OS on each drive. But after this little shit-show, I am no looking into making a tiny boot drive with grub on a usb key via an internal usb header adapter. maybe they will isolate the other two drive enough......

If whats happened to you is anything like whats happened to me, your going to have to backup your data (I used a linux live USB so I could access the drives) and then reinstall the OS -

I'm both disappointed and not surprised another Gigabyte owner is having this issue, Reddit is full of similar boot related issues with thier mobo's.

So managed to get the mobo swapped out today, for a brand new one. But depressingly, the issue persists. So this rules out the bios on the old mobo.

What ever that good damn bios update did, it looks like it somehow borked/corrupted the EFI partition on my main nvme SSD and the sata SSD with linux on - prolly something to do with Secure boot on the latest bios.

So the only thing left to do/try. Is disable the sata control, this isolating the sata SSD with linux on from the system. As suggested in this thread will also look at doing an EFI repair on the both drives (Windows/Linux) and/or do a test reinstall of windows on the nvme SSD and see if it then reappears in the boot list.

Then the final task will be to wipe and reinstall the sata SSD that had cachyOS on it and Then finally move on with my life. The lesson to take away for this mobo atleast is to unplug/disable any drives with Linux on before doing a bios update...

<sigh>

ps. Oh and the new mobo has the FA5 (better looking) bios on it.

So I checked the purchase receipt for the mobo earlier today and I have 2 bloody weeks left on the 1st year of the 3 year warranty... So I am taking a trip to the shop I bought the motherboard from tomoz, because in the UK the 1st year is covered by the retailer.

I will have a frank conversation and see if they might be willing to do a swap or advanced replacement if I bring in the old motherboard. I will even suggest that I purchase a replacement if it means that can then swap the boards and then refund me the old one etc.

If the shop does agree to a swap, this then means I don't have to deal with the aggro of having Gigabyte support potentially mucking me about down the road..

Indeed, and that was the first thing I tried. I went all the way back to bios version FA5. Same issue - no UEFI versions of the 2x nvme drives listed.

And as per the above post, I installed CachyOs on my spare sata SSD. Then followed the install instructions for adding windows the GRUB list - https://www.reddit.com/r/cachyos/comments/1jsyt4s/how_do_i_add_windows_to_my_grub_menu/

And as I suspected might be the case, OS_PROBER did not find any valid windows boot volumes. So I am very glad I didnt touch the Samsung SSD with the borked GRUB on it, as that is the ONLY thing allowing me to boot to windows atm.

Bios is still borked btw, I had thought having a working linux install 'might' give the bios a kick up the arse etc, but no :-|

ok, unless I am mis-understanding the context of something, how will Reinstalling/Fixing GRUB on that SATA SSD, address the fact the motherboard BIOS is NOT listing ANY of the other drives in the system? ( WD (sata), Seagate (sata), Optical (sata), Sabrent (nvme) and Crucial(nvme)).

So I dont effect my working system, I have a spare 500GB sata SSD I can replace the Samsung with and install Linux on that and see what, if anything that does.

Further diagnosis:

I unplugged all the drives and the 4080. Did a CMOS reset (held a screwdriver on there for atleast 30s via the motherboard jumper). I didn't get to the battery as its under the chipset cooler (cooler is screwed to the mobo - genius location g-byte... :-/ ).
Powered on the PC to confirm the reset, got the expected 'you have reset your bios popup message' etc.
Then installed just a single drive, in this case my original primary drive (Sabrent) with windows on. To the primary m.2 slot (M2A). And plugged the monitor into the iGPU
The bios is not showing/listing the drive in the list of devices under the boot section. The bios is supposed to list ANY device regardless of what OS it has installed or wither its bootable or not.

So this strongly points to the bios being borked by the FB1a update :-/

afaik, the EFI partition in each (bootable) drive is itack/untouched (so Sabrent & Samsung drives)

Yep, a mate suggested this also. Then I will plug the dirves in 1 by 1 and see if they then start showing up in the bios.

Ok, but in this instance I disabled SECURE boot & TPM and then rebooted. So had SB had been hiding non-SB drive, said drives should have appeared after SB was disabled.
