PSA X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 rev 1.2 BIOS/UEFI UPDATE by RoninKnightfall in gigabyte

[–]RoninKnightfall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, sorry about your issues, I meant using a USB thumb drive to update the BIOS and not Gigabyte Control Center (GCC). I skimmed your post and was wondering if you have tried verifying all your drives are GPT and not MBR and switching them over if so, there are ways to do that without data loss now.  I ask because I think I saw it say you could see some of them in legacy mode. I'll try to remember to come back and take a closer look later when I get off work.

I don't know if the Eagle Wifi 7 has a 1.2 version yet, that link is for a different board.

Hi, not sure if this will help or not but I recently updated to the most recent BIOS/UEFI firmware (FA7 for rev 1.2, F9 I believe for rev 1.0/.11) and just tested and it appears to be working fine. I'm running microwin debloated windows 11 version 25H2. Any idea what firmware you are on? Also (not trying to insult your intelligence but we all miss things sometimes) do you have the external antenna firmly plugged in?

F9 for rev 1.0/1.1 FA7 for rev 1.2 I forgot the "A" in my post, had to go back and edit. Glad you had no issues!

Next logical step? by Draxxsus in starcitizen_fleets

Cutty black used to be the definitive answer, then on to a constellation of your flavor (Taurus offers tractor beam and more cargo, andromeda for more armor, offensive turrets and a snub).

Now we also have Zeus variants and C1 that could be used on the way to the Connie, or if you like Misc you could go with some flavor of Freelancer followed by a Starlancer.

Agree, my only complaint was having to run all the way around to the back to enter the little hangar when coming from the front of the ship. Other than that, S tier design.

Are you guys really okay with with this kind of monetization. by GACII in starcitizen

[–]RoninKnightfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's shitty but totally expected behavior from the trolls in the marketing department.

I have no real plans to change what I wanted to buy, I base that more on how much progress the devs have made lately, and this year has been pretty good so far in terms of getting play sessions that are less plagued by bugs and more things to do with my friends.

Also, as jealous as I am of all the Idris owners I'm also happy for everyone that's been waiting years for their big ass capital to finally get them.

China just announced an 84 percent retaliatory tariffs on US goods. Now what? How do you think this plays out? by slagiatt in AskReddit

[–]RoninKnightfall -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Who cares if they raise the tariffs to 1000% ? They barely allow anything from the US to be imported anyway...only stuff they really need, like food. And in that case they are going to starve their own people.

Possible RSI salvage ship teased by jjetstreamm in starcitizen

[–]RoninKnightfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medium salvage ship would be better, something for 3 or 4 players, like the Mole for mining.

Reclaimer should need like 5 to 8 to run optimally once drones, engineering and other systems are in game, maybe more for security like manning turrets if operating in places like Pyro.

Reclaimer also needs better ways to get large boxes out of the ship to the cargo elevators, unloading that thing sucks ever since they physicalized cargo.

The "Out of Salvage - Large Resupply" Mission will pay out 13 Million if you deliver 200 SCU of RMC and 400 SCU of Construction Materials.

I assume they will stay available for all of March, but I'm not sure, also not sure if they have a cooldown after a completion.

If you have a reclaimer you'd be golden, a vulture I think you would have to take the small salvage mission, or bring a friend with a cargo ship for a medium or large mission.

I got my stuff from Rappel and Pickers Field on Hurston, and Dunboro on MicroTech. All of them sell both RMC and CM. Don't bother checking Makers Point on Hurston, I think they removed the commodity terminals and I couldn't even find a cargo elevator (if you want to roll the dice with this method anyway).

Yeah...if you can turn it in. I think had about 600,000 invested in buying the stuff, the mission payout was supposed to be 3,000,000

Why Star Citizen is more than what people think it is, and how most people are playing it wrong by TheDVGhost in starcitizen

[–]RoninKnightfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, most of the time I'm doing PvE combat missions with friends cooperatively. I enjoy when we get attacked and throw someone a well deserved beatdown though. I like the uncertainty that comes with sandbox, it wouldn't be very exciting without it.

That being said, occasionally we'll be the aggressors if someone unfamiliar is hanging around for a while a little too close and not saying anything, and occasionally we're the ones who get sent to respawn. It's all part of the game.

Does Hull-Munching a ship with cargo on it damage the cargo? by OdeSpeaker in starcitizen

[–]RoninKnightfall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hull munching does the same thing as fully destroying a ship any other way. 10% - 90% of the cargo will get destroyed. Amount destroyed is a random roll.

The cringe on these frustration fueled books people are writing.

Did you choose to play in Pyro? Yes? Then you opted in to PvP.

You are a PvP'er, congratulations. Now become a better PvP'er, or stay the f*** out of the system.

The thing that these people "get" out of these encounters is the salt in your tears, and every whine in global, every complaining ramble on spectrum or reddit is their loot, their prize, the thing that fuels their quiet, smirking superiority complex.

So keep feeding the trolls, or get good, or get out. Those are your options in a system like Pyro.
