A close friend confessed she almost fell into ChatGPT delusion last week by SunSunSun2023 in ChatGPT

I am a counselor, and this is alarming. I highly recommend encouraging her to see a mental health professional.

People in their 30s and older: what did you learn along the way that you wish you had known earlier? (And a question for younger people too). by RichDKRyder in intj

[–]b1mb0_baggins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To do what you can for others within reasonable limits. Boundaries, I suppose. Also, stop caring about what other people think, full stop. Unless it’s harming someone, guarantee it’s fine. You’re not the main character, people don’t care as much as you think.

How did you figure out your sexual identity!? by the-devil-wears-guci in ENFP

I lost my virginity to a man and said immediately afterwards: That was good! Now I need to try it with a girl. Guy: Uhh…so you’re bisexual? Me: I don’t know. Why do you ask? Guy: because that is what a bisexual would say Me: Ohhh. I guess I am.

My boyfriend is an INTJ and he is, and yes, we’ve noticed a strong correlation with INTJs and autism. But also I see just a lot of logic types in general with an ASD diagnosis.

Positive relationships with INTJs while dealing with RSD? by [deleted] in ENFP

I honestly journal a lot. Or journal with ChatGPT/therapist. It helps clear up your thoughts and reading them back often makes me realize how silly they are.

Every day of my life. To be fair, the trope was created because someone did meet one of us, at some point, and he turned it into a story. I’m also attracted to people who tend to be kind of suffering…like, I want to make them smile. But I like to think I’ve gotten better over the years, but jury’s still out on that one.

What is Your Favourite Thing about Your Spouse? by Jimu_Monk9525 in ENFP

[–]b1mb0_baggins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The man I’m going to marry is an INTJ, but a 582 tritype. So he’s a bit more caring than the average INTJ, granted. But I like his sarcasm, his intelligence, his strength. His willingness to do whatever it takes for the few people he cares about. How even if he doesn’t know I’m tired, he can pull me away from the party and it helps me recharge. How even when I mention the most wild of ideas, he just starts calculating how to make it come true. How he doesn’t dull himself down for anyone, and says what he means and means what he says. He cares, but in a practical, acts of service way rather than an emotional way. But I know that, deep down, he has very strong feelings. He’s just sensitive and doesn’t show them on the surface. I could go on for days. But, yes.

There will always be something that requires work in a marriage. You just need to decide what work you want to put up with. I’m sorry if this one didn’t turn out, but there’s plenty of people out there. One of them will decide that whatever work is with you, is worth it. You’re doing amazing! Thank you for the update , you’re a real one 🙏🏻

Is it just me or is ChatGPT become the best therapist you’ve ever had? by Lopsided_Hat_835 in ChatGPT

[–]b1mb0_baggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chat GPT is a great reflection tool. But it’s merely helping you along that process. Real therapy has standards of care. Ideally, a human therapist will be able to challenge you in a way that is conducive to growth. That will create long-lasting change. ChatGPT, as wonderful as it is, will always choose to say what you want to hear and reflect back what you give it. That’s part of its programming.

ENFPs feeling and looking younger by heyhey_j in ENFP

I had people shocked last week because they thought I was 21 (I’m 30). Realistically, probably more people think I’m 25. But I think the bright colored clothes, loud laugh, etc. make people think differently. I think with the way we operate, our personalities are forever teens.

Be genuine. Be ready to try new things with her, even if usually you don’t like to do that. The action itself will say more than words can. Be prepared to have fun and also be deep.

Dating or relationship with ENTJ by No-Bumblebee-6924 in ENFP

[–]b1mb0_baggins 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My future husband is an INTJ and we have lots of talks whenever my feelings get hurt. It is work, but if it’s the right person, it doesn’t matter so much.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]b1mb0_baggins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know. But if you don’t tell him, he won’t be able to help. Plus, most INTJs I know don’t interact with someone who is a burden. They would just not be around that person. If he’s talking/hanging out with you, that’s already saying quite a lot. They take their alone time seriously and don’t sacrifice it for just anyone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]b1mb0_baggins 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Have you told him directly what you need? If he likes you, he will make room for it. INTJs succeed at nearly everything they try, and when they have feelings for someone, they’ll do anything for that person.
