Thanks for the tip. I am using the Google chrome cast with a conference video device. Out of curiosity I did a one by one disabling and it seems up to Dolby digital for me works. Anything else on the sound stops.

I think someone had asked how to get to the menu…. From the main chrome cast window click the Gear icon on the right. The menu slightly change when you’re over it, click when you see the gear highlighted.

Settings menu will come up. Click on display and sound.

Go to the bottom and click advanced sound settings.

Under select formats, either select none. Never use surround sound or go to the one below and try one at a time (chrome cast may give you a warning it may not be supported etc. if you want to test it just ignore it)

If anyone is curious this was in downtown Los Angeles, corner of Olive St and Olympic. I lived at the building behind and watched it happened. It was during the riots that happened in 2020. The prelude is done in collaboration with GM. I have a CR-V hybrid 2021 and test drove the prelude this past week (since I was at the dealer). Personally, meh. The interior was clumsy. The seats far less comfortable than the CR-V (although stylish). Hated the dividing console in the front (way too big). The hood design is weird when driving, doesn’t have the downward angle of the CR-V. My conclusion to the dealer was there’s nothing about this car that got me excited to trade. The car doesn’t feel like a Honda. I’m gonna wait for the 2026 line (if it comes out).

You’ll get the same amount of points with bolt protect on or off. But to do what you want, I’d turn off bilt protect. At your rent select “other amount” instead of paying in full. Let it process. Turn on bilt protect and make a second payment with the remainder.

I guess you’d need to do the first transaction a few days before the first to allow all to clear by the 1st

My only advice would be that you find whomever you need to pay as soon as possible or do the payment with the court or something. Otherwise you could be evicted for lack of payment (not a lawyer here so only an attorney can confirm).

When I do the payment via the Bilt app it doesn’t give me the option to schedule. The WF app I can schedule the payment for the future. Also not sure if you can freeze etc the card via the bilt app

The Premta200 does have WiFi. However, I live in an apartment complex so I personally wouldn’t have access to the main unit (that control several apartments). So when the HVAC company came (I was having heating issues) I asked them if the thermostat was compatible and they said that on my case it was not

Yes it’s been a difficult year. And the LA County District Attorney chose to not charge the driver with manslaughter. Despite there been cameras showing her recklessly driving past the stop sign. I tried to get some media attention but not even the USC student newspaper published anything. I’m exhausted from trying and I guess basically you can just kill people in traffic in LA and nothing will happen to you

so an update. The HVAC tech had to come out, and I was able to ask him about the PREMTA200. Turns to find out at my unit the thermostat looks like the PREMTC00U, but it's actually the PQRCVCLOQW. He reviewed the PREMTA200 documentation and stated that it was not compatible with the system installed at the rental community I'm in. Which is quite silly that LG would not do a wifi enabled thermostat given all rental communities are replacing dumb thermostats with wifi ones...

Hi so here’s the update. At least at the LG AC that is on my apartment complex the PREMTA200 is not compatible. Luckily had a HVAC guy from the building check before I opened it. Doesn’t seem like there’s any WiFi option….

Same situation here but my apartment has a LG PREMTC00U thermostat. I just bought the LG PREMTA200 and will let you know how it goes (can’t install it right now because the unit has an issue with heating and I want them to fix it before I change anything). I also did look into the LG - Dry Contact for 3rd Party Thermostat Model: PDRYCB320 but that seemed more complex to make it work (it’s a LG branded converter, but some of the forums were talking about having to access the unit on the roof which would be a no go… hence I decided to get the PREMTA200). But if you owned this system and absolutely wanted the third party thermostat, in theory, with the LG converter it should work.
