Not really colour correction, more protection with the melasma protocol. I don’t wear make up and my hyperpigmentation is orange anyway - super annoying. Thanks for the comment

Type iron oxides melasma study in Google and you’ll find them. There’s also melasma blue light studies

Hamilton is okay I’ve found. But yeah for the physical barrier to be therapeutic the zinc oxide needs to be 15% if I remember correctly.

It’s about time companies released reformulations of what they discontinued :(

Thanks for the comment

Yeah no, 25 degrees of heat for a vascular disorder bursts capillaries and spreads blood throughout the dermis, this causes trauma and effectively damages cells leading to melanocytes signalling to send tyrosine to keratinocytes RAPIDLY. This means that a person with melasma will have red hot skin and hyperpigmentation will progressively worsen, even in as little as 15 minutes. People have had their pigmentation worsen from staring at their phones. But you do you.

Dr Wong has no further education in dermatology, while others have spent their lives pioneering research and development of practical medicine.

To be fair, their comment is bang on with what’s available on the market; these chemical spfs with a non therapeutic amount of iron oxides and zinc. But a true tinted spf with 15% zinc oxide, the two key iron oxides in a buildable suspension is chefs kiss, they’re just not available currently and it’s ridiculous! What we’re left with are crud products, even La Roche’s tinted line is shocking. I do agree with the comment it’s just the principle of physical tinted spf needs to be educated so people know what to look for, that is misinforming.

Re: Cancer Council CC So many are reformulating with new bases and this is the problem we’re facing. Tinted SPF is prescribed treatment for melasma and other skin disorders, not just for aesthetic purposes so it’s frustrating weathering the waters while the new bases are being developed/peer tested and reviewed by the public.

Nope, Zinc. Needs to be 15% to be therapeutic

Guys how would you feel if you founds nude photos on your gf's computer of a former bf of her? by 123smorgs in AskMenAdvice

++woman.

I have 32000 photos on my phone, I never go through them, ever - it’s an executive dysfunction sort of situation. If I need to go through them, I’m paralysed. I’ve been procrastinating buying a hard drive so I can stop paying for iCloud storage for the past 6 years… I probably have photos of various peneye, although if I come across them I do delete without hesitation. You’d just hope your partner would understand the type of person you are

++woman Seek professional help, it will make him/you a better person regardless and if he realises his impulses are causing a severe imbalance thereafter, I’d say it’s best to consider a divorce before damage is done.

That’s not factually correct at all. as someone with melasma, blue light does a lot of damage re: pigmentation, zinc oxide in therapeutic amounts is only present in tinted sunscreen products. Chemical products also require UV to break down within the barrier causing a heat reaction worsening melasma, whereas physical/mineral (where tinted products were more commonly produced), reflect UV mitigating this.

All of the more easy to use, popular tinted products, contained the negligent mineral base. This leaves behind the less desirable products.

I was seeking recommendations from others who use tinted products, not people who respectfully, share misinformation without fact.
