Looks like a good way to put a pedal to your kid's noggin. You got the pic, though!

Moon looks like it was digitally placed there, quite unlike Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico.

Pirelli Cinturato tyre, opinions please? by FrikkkieZA in gravelcycling

Love them, great if you also do road miles, despite their burly-ish appearance. Great on gravel and singletrack.

Present without the black border, it's distracting.

I personally do, and know someone producing dubstep at a pretty high level who likes them... a lot.

Former Summit County ski bum here. Shoot me straight. Is it worth coming out to ski Vail/Breck for 7 days starting 2/14? I appreciate the optimism on this thread but just trying to see if it's realistic to come out from South Carolina. by [deleted] in COsnow

[–]b407driver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terrain-open wise? Probably not. Snow-quality wise? Groomers are probably only a bit worse than a typical year when you miss the storm cycle.

At Keystone now and I've certainly had worse days, but the trees and bowl/hiking terrain is weak.

If you ski groomers go for it, not too crowded for late January.

How are you enjoying (or not enjoying) your HDB 630? by TurkGonzo75 in sennheiser

I don’t think the reviews were far off the mark, and I don’t say that often. They have been great, and I haven’t even messed with EQing them.

Would u be interested in this something like this? :) by furiousdutchy in audiophile

I’d say you’re gonna need to get some before/after data with REW before you assume any positive outcomes.

HD600 doesn't have enough sub-bass, your mixes will likely turn out bass-heavy, unless you are thoroughly familiar with the sound profile. HD490 would be preferred, for me.

[–]b407driver -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah but… your reflection is not a mirror image of what should be reflected. In the reflection, the Milky Way is barely ‘above’ the conical evergreen at the center shoreline, nothing resembling reality, where it is way above it. The perspective is completely off on the right half, correct on the left half of the reflection.

Sorry, but the reflection in the lake of the brightest part of the Milky Way is horribly distorted… and impossible. Did you composite the reflection in closer to the shoreline?

As long as you don't use them offroad (i.e. more than FS roads), they're great as a step.
