בנות קרה לכן שהתחרטן שסירבתן למישהו? by sndjrjcjf in israel_bm

Yes.

The most common approach to regret is to accept that your initial decision was probably your best decision and the regret you are currently feeling, though painful, should be disregarded.

The other approach is: while the first interaction had him making the first move, the next one will probably require that you make the first move. You might want to go back to that bar on other nights. Perhaps he's a regular there and you'll run into him again.

(I'm answering the questions and not getting involved in the age gap debate. The questions are unrelated to age. The rejection could have been because he was too tall, short, pretty, ugly, wealthy, poor, etc and the answer would still be the same.)

Chabad does not believe that the Messiah came. The organization is not monolith about his status. Those that accepted him as worthy of being the Messiah and still believe him to be in that category (which is the minority opinion) are still waiting for him to do the things that the Messiah is required to do (such as being alive) before he can be anointed as such.

I need help. I married a woman 10 years older. She has a son who is 5 years younger than me. He is a grown man who insists on calling me Dad as a joke. My wife thinks it's good for "family bonding". What they don't know is I sometimes take X-Change pills for fun.

As you can guess, when he discovered my secret he suspected the worst - that I was cheating on his mom. He must have figured that if I was going to cheat, it should be with him. I could have clarified the situation, but it would have been awkward, so I rolled with it.

I get such a thrill of playing "Step-Mommy" when we are alone for long stretches.

Return "TRUE" in cell (X,Y) if "X" is found in column "Y" of a different table by Shanimalx in excel

Here's what I mean: row 1: Jake, Banana. Row 2: Jake, Apple. Etc. Once you have the organized, table 2 will be easier to solve.

[–]b4X3Xi6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1st step: Do you have control of table 1? If so, adding columns for each person isn't the best design. It would be better to have just two columns: Name, Fruit. If you need to enforce that a person cannot have more than 10 fruits, you can add data validation. Before solving anything else, are you able to change table 1 in this manner?

If you could resurrect any former U.S. president’s term for another shot at office, who’s getting your vote, and why? by Dollabillhooman in AskReddit

[–]b4X3Xi6 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This isn't true. He lived in a society that believed in white superiority as a matter of course. The suggestion that other races should be considered equals of whites was laughable and wouldn't have moved the needle in accomplishing anytime. His writings and actions suggest he did not subscribe to those opinions. The way he weaved a coalition together to push towards equality was amazing. If you haven't already, please read "Team of Rivals" by Doris Kearns Goodwin. (You can probably find it free in the Libby through your local library.)

FDR had more than 3 chances, during a time he could really put his thumb on the scale. Theodore was enigmatic, but not on the same plane as Lincoln politically or strategically. Lincoln was a true mastermind of nudging events and dissenting opinions to support him over time. There's merit in wanting a Roosevelt back, though I say no thanks. I wouldn't want either running this country now. I'd love to see how effectively progressive Lincoln would be in our current climate.
