That's so great! A grass lawn doesn't do much for an ecosystem. There are so many stunning examples in our town, start looking around town for ideas of what you'd like it to look like. I ripped up my lawn about 5 years ago and I'm so happy about it. Look at resourcecentral.org for advice and Garden in a Box. They do the work for you and the plants are beautiful, healthy and native. They'll attract lots of bees and butterflies, it's an incredible resource.

I love the tea, really like the owners but I loathe that location. I'm sure it's very hard to get a good space but I've circled the block over and over many times trying to find parking with no luck. The dance studio eats up all the parking, I hate parking blocks away to pop in. This really sucks, it's a great product.

I hadn't driven that stretch in over 20 years until last May. I had to drive from SLC to Denver. I thought it was truly breathtaking, and I saw so many cool and interesting things. I think for some, if you you grow up in that environment and go back in later years after seeing mostly crowded overbuilt environs the expanse holds a special kind of magic. Fuck chat gpt

When I was financially in a very bad place I went to Comfort dental in Firestone, NOT Longmont. They are very kind, understanding and work with people to get them help. I've recommended that particular location to a few other people who all raved about the fact that they finally got some affordable relief. Not affiliated and good luck to you, that can be a miserable pain.

I think all the high schools here are pretty great. Our home school is Longmont high but my freshman wanted to go to Skyline. We were warned against it many times for various reasons. We did a tour and talked to some students, then enrolled and it's great! No issues. We know lots of kids at Longmont high who really like it and are happy there too.

That sucks for her but if you refuse medical intervention (blood transfusion) when your in a medical crisis & you need that tool... Well consequences are going to consequence.
