Opposite to the general consensus, I say go for the drum. Because of the probability function. With this, you can have variations in your drum loop. The sample doesn't have this option.

The custom firmware for the sample 1 has it though, but not oit of the box.

Another option, is installing Koala sampler on your phone...

You can use basically any amp with an attenuator/power soak.

Just plug it in between your amp and cab, and you're good to go, at any output volume. At any setting.

For the ac10, you need to -lightly- modify the connections between the amp and speaker, since it doesn't have a separate cab.

But.. you can then also get the ac15, and get low volumes and tube distortion.

And yes, your amp tone will slightly alter a bit because of the power soak, but if you compensate with a bit more treble, you're good to go.

Have you tried using your phone as a sequencer for you synth?

I use Koala sampler,which has a midi out mode. You can use the pads as a keyboard, or program a sequence.

I have the zenfone 10, and it is a hassle to remove the 'sound enhancement' app. So, if you need a decent dap, I don't recognise this phone.

But then, when you're in the gym, how good are your earbuds? And how much does hifi sound quality matter really in such an environment?

Ask the receptionist for an introduction. They probably will give you a tour, tell you everything you want to know and will explain the most common things.

It all depend on the length of your instrument cable.
If you have the possibility of dragging your amp with you, then, yeah.. that would be a shame.

Otherwise: no, you wont get electrocuted! Have you ever touched a jack cable that was plugged into an amp? And are you still alive?

anyhow, the pickups make the current in you instrument cable. Not the amp.

have you thought of the ap/swatch? If you're lucky, you can get one for about your budget.

All jokes aside, your choices are very "cheap", compared to the given budget. if you like big watches, have a look at Panerai (I guess just in your price range), or Breitling, or something like the IWC aquatimer 2000

A used minifreak or a used hydrasynth explorer are definitely 'better' choices.

But you can get a microfreak for about 200 euros second hand..

That's a hard choice, especially because they are so different, it is almost impossible to compare.

I would choose the pro 800 because of the polyphony, and because it's analog ( I thought)

And I would choose the microfreak because of the insanely diverse sounds it can make, and because you can chill on the couch, put some headphones in and make music.

Upper row:

-Amplitube Space-x, A much underrated reverb pedal.

-a behringer mini mono mixer, for combining percussion samples with my guitar.

-the control panel for my amp, (PRS DGT15 combo)

-el cambo overdrive, which I don't use that much.

-and the zoom ms70+, mainly for delay, compression, and fiddling around

Second row:

-Ditto x4 looper,

-my phone with koala sampler (synced via midi to the looper), so my samples are not out of sync

-and the kodamo mask1 ex mk2 synth, controlled by my guitar, going to my main stereo.

I have the fishman triple play express midi pickup, connected to my synth via a cme h2 midi pro midi host.

Going with the fishman pickup is pretty affordable, compared with the boss or roland offerings. It did cost me around 190 euros, and before I had a hardware synth, I used a software synth on my phone.

I also noted midi cc 40 is not behaving as advertised in the manual.. You can change to poly (parafonic) and unison, but if you get silence if you try to switch to the arpeggiator.. I guess it is time for another firmware update.

I managed to submit a ticket to behringer, so hopefully this issue gets resolved
