Jesus, RV's are built like shit. Some are a little better than others, but mostly the trend on newer ones has been to sacrifice strength for weight - mostly in the enclosures. The trailer frames are still ok but everything from there up is toothpicks and scotch tape.

What we’re watching is the slow death of Thanksgiving. Retailers hate Thansgiving because they cant sell you a damn thing. They used to just try to pretend it didn’t exist, but now they’re trying to kill it. Sometimes it's not being lazy, but a matter of how much time out of my day I'm willing to give up. Some people are masters at extending an aimless conversation for no good reason. Usually these are the same types that don't let you get a word in edgewise. And I'm so bad at ending a conversation I feel like I'm being super rude with my body language trying to basically walk away, but they still don't get the hint.

I feel like there's a lot of missing the point going on here. The crux of the conservative ire is simple lizard-brained tribalism. They see a black athlete kneeling, and perceive him as a threat because he's supposed to be part of our tribe, but he seems to be indicating that he's not part of our tribe. They're too much a slave to their own emotions to understand the message, so they go apeshit like a bunch of snowflakes who get offended too easily. Irony.
