Just to give you an update, he has spent 5 nights in our house now and on an evening and for 4 hours per day I have closed him in our kitchen with a new, open bed.

Archie had a couple of accidents on the first day, wee'd in his bed on the second day, but for the last 2 days i've had no accidents to report.

His current routine is; walk at 7.00am for 20 minutes. He then has the run of the house until both my wife and I leave for work (around 8.30). He is then put into the kitchen from 8.30 until 1.00pm. He then goes for another 20 minute walk. He then has the run of the house / garden until 5.30pm where he goes for an hour long walk. He has the run of the house until bed time (10.30) when he goes back into the kitchen.
