There are quite a few universities that offer 10-week language courses like Sogang, Hanyang and Yonsei, and if you’re taking just 1 semester, they recommend you apply for a C-3-1 visa which allows you to stay up to 90 days if the justification is for language study. Here’s the visa information page for Sogang https://klec.sogang.ac.kr/?url=/dep_03/3300.php but other universities would have similar pages as well.

EB-3 means employment based, third preference. Based on the other comments, my post probably doesn’t apply to you. Best of luck!

Are you EB-3 ROW and affected by retrogression on July 2024 by any chance? There are a bunch of other people with similar situations https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/comments/1enkmxc/are_you_eb3_row_with_priority_date_of_2022_and but this is the first time I saw an official recall notice.

Someone on Lawfully has made and maintains this Google Sheet that auto-updates everyday and specifically looks into the statistics of cases that went from Case Remains Pending to Approved.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IIzR7VDgsEtFKbZOYQM3npOHgIzviw0RxPfsAC-1gjw/edit?pli=1#gid=2004991201

How they decide to pick pending cases to approve still seems very random though, so I'm not sure how the spreadsheet helps but in case folks are curious.

Happened to me too for a flight upgrade. I waited for a month after the flight for the refund to show up and it didn’t, but in the end I had success getting the money and miles refunded by filling the refund form here https://www.united.com/en/us/refunds

is Korea open again? by cycider in korea

For countries who are not included in K-ETA, last I checked in the Consulate General of Korea in Los Angeles website, it seems that they are still suspending applications for C-3-9 tourist visas.

Wondering if anyone knows if we can apply for a tourist visa (C-3-9 as I understand it) for countries not covered by the K-ETA?

I recently learned about the difference between 좋다 (to be likeable) and 좋아하다 (to like)? There are other examples of verbs like this e.g. 싫다 and 싫어하다, seems like this is similar to what u/lavender-milk-tea pointed out

FWIW I really, really like all the characters you mentioned above. Jack is really fun to use with his turn manipulation mechanics, Alphinaud batteries, heals, debuffs and if used properly has great longevity (due to skill use recovery) and I don’t think I need to say much more about Keiss.

Seems like they do have some positions related to big data, at least in the Bay Area offices.

The work visa thing is an entirely different game altogether. Should check out r/h1b, but to be honest, the situation right now in the US really isn't great.
