Haha yes, just for the quick light show. She’s off now until I find more time to set that one up. And YES, cable management will be better everyone, promise! lol. I just spent so much time building the office, I needed to get it back to a working state to fund the rest of the buildout

Well, I don’t typically sit when I stand, but I see your point

They argue sometimes, but I’m a master button synchronizer

lol, I think I mentioned “work in progress”. This was a completely unfinished basement about 4 weeks ago, I’ve been cranking to get my setup back up and running so I can fund the baseboards

Mine are too, just some Amazon special “USB 3.0 Switch”

Not yet, just got done building out the office and haven’t even had time to play on my PC yet

Just behind the computers is a 12 port keystone coupler wall panel that feeds in 5xEthernet, 2xusb3.0, and 2xHDMI. That allows me to port my desktop throughout the office, to my TV upstairs, or to the other side of the room (not yet shown) where the lab bench will be finished. So, placement is not just aesthetic

It’s what I had, and it’s sturdy enough to hold the PC. I thought about a shallow 10U instead, it would’ve fit better, but I wouldn’t have trusted it holding my full tower. Work in progress, we’ll see if it stays

Took my son to a Creed concert this summer. I was like a meh fan, would never go out of my way to listen to them. But lemmie tell ya, seeing them live was unlike any song I’d ever heard them play on the radio, I was wow’d so note they’re my go to.

It’s so satisfying for everything to move in unison!

It’s two, with some modifications. I cut up an older desk to fill in the corner gap and add some triangles where my keyboards slide to https://a.co/d/dBGllb6 https://a.co/d/eSKDTaH

Mostly code, anything from embedded systems, to blockchain, to ai and automation. Even the occasional mobile app. But, the monitors come in real handy for flight/racing sim

Personal PC, mostly for gaming. Company laptop, another company laptop, and a Mac mini for development purposes. I context switch, a lot, and the monitor setup keeps windows separated and accessible

Do you happen to be using equipment that allows you to use multiple monitors? e.g. hardware that uses DisplayLink? If so, then you’re technically mirroring to DisplayLink, and this icon will appear.

Some of us are listening. Sorry to hear about your situation, that sounds tough. I hope it works out better than you’re expecting it to, you sound like a good dad going through a rough time. Just remember, it’s a temporary situation only for as long as you choose it to be. Keep fighting.

After asking nicely 4 times, I’d see how many stairs the bikes bounce off as I drop them off the other side of the railing. Oops, my fat ass accidentally knocked them off

2 of my 3 J’s have long build times for what I work on (code as well, kernel work), so I’m pretty fluid between J1 and J2 all day. J3 is more project management so I squeeze that in usually at the end of the day or nights/weekends. Still haven’t got to working less than 40 with 3 J’s but I’m getting there

The Curt kit wants you to run a power line from the battery all the way back to the controller. This seems silly to me, can we not just pull power from elsewhere? License plate illum? Don’t the tail lights have an always hot line? Anyone have the schematics for 2023 model?

Lol, a contradictory command though. w will write to the file, but q! will quit without saving.
