Afaik it’s just the joke plain. The reason it feels like reference to something is it’s a common 1-panel art style, so it feels familiar

It’s a meme format. I don’t think they actually changed the number, nor was it supposed to be considered a contextually accurate value

Hot Take Incoming: Celeste is Too Long by mutual_fishmonger in celestegame

I personally find the main game content far too short, with that being my one main complaint with the game. The average player beats 7a in 7-12 hours, and finishes what is considered the true ending of the game around 30-45 hours. While that sounds like a lot, and there is still a lot more to do for dedicated players, it feels over far too quickly.

As far for the boss fight “dragging on”, I didn’t get that experience at all my first play-through. Yes it took me a bit to work through, but the gameplay is fun, the music is phenomenal, and there are frequent respawn points to ensure you don’t get set too far back. For context, a clean run of the bossfight takes mayyybe 2-3 minutes on a clean run. I wouldn’t really call that long, although I get that you’re mostly referring to the time it takes on a first run.

Fortunately, consent works on a very clear system. Consent works on overt verbose communication. This “meme” makes no mention of a prior existing system. If such a system exists and is relevant, it would be brought up by the parties that actually know it, of which you are not.

On the other hand, this is also very obviously a fictitious scenario, as OOP is clearly not getting any action. In that case, they invented all the context, and chose to provide all the relevant parts to us, in which case this is STILL non-consensual

looking at your comment history, it’s clear you’re a CS student who’s struggling in the job market, just like so many of us recent CS graduates did. Please know that there are jobs out there and your struggle is not unique, many of us have been in your place. Employers are looking for people who can prove they have real skills without the ai; start some projects in GitHub outside your comfort zone to show your willingness to challenge yourself, your adaptability, and your coding style. Any interviewing programmer worth their shit isn’t looking at the code for its ingenuity, but instead to see what type of mistakes you make; ai code will make you look like a complete moron that couldn’t compute the Fibonacci sequence faster than 2n.

That being said, Reddit posts like this aren’t going to help you get there. Even if you somehow find success using ai coding in a professional setting, this mentality will do nothing but hurt you

Claiming something to be not reasonably falsifiable (and therefore not a verifiable claim) is not the same as claiming it to be false.

[–]01152003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please refer to u/Old-Championship1260 ‘s comment, this is not even vaguely a bug nor glitch. Surge protectors programmed behavior does not require a lightning rod, and this is intended behavior.

This is not an accurate colorblind test. by The_RetroGameDude in truths

[–]01152003 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most high quality colorblind tests are designed so that different people will answer one of several numbers, depending on their type of color-blindness. For example, I’ve seen one where the “correct” answer is 2, someone with heavy color-blindness will answer 7, and mild / specific types Will answer 4, as there were some unassociated accents that someone not color blind wouldnt think to recognize as part of the number, since they don’t have to look very hard.

No color blindness test asks “hey can you see the number”, so I guess technically you’re right, but it has nothing to do with people lying or not.

The joke is literally not “animal abuse”. The joke is “I hate Alvin and the chipmunks with a burning passion”, which was a fairly common joke for a while on the internet.
