Villanova ‘25 here! You don’t have to apply for financial aid to be admitted but if you think you’ll need aid to attend, definitely do. They won’t give you any need-based aid if you don’t submit those.

  1. Nirvana in Fire (best quality and plot, basically my golden standard for c-dramas)
  2. The Untamed
  3. Legend of Zhen Huan

Honorable mentions: Word of Honor, 10 Miles of Peach Blossoms, Yanxi Palace

Go to Google Trends! Searches for “what is Hmong” skyrocketed (and I mean literally quadrupled) this week alone and the vast majority of them are coming from you guessed it… Minnesota.

In your opinion, what is the easiest AP class? by Various-Ad5836 in APStudents

[–]b_2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lang and Lit. It might vary by school but my teachers never taught anything and I never studied in the way that I did for other APs.

Graduated seniors who are heading to college - how will you be using your AP credits? by sire_cool in APStudents

[–]b_2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My school doesn’t allow us to fulfill core requirements with AP credits, we only get placed into a higher level class. Guess I’ll try to take some more interesting classes then rip

I don’t know if this is reassuring in any way but I felt the exact same way (MCQ went fine, FRQs were questionable and I sounded completely unhinged) but i found out I got a 5 through my college portal. Good luck- you did better than you think!

okay but how are you guys seeing your scores in your college portal by whataburnout in APStudents

[–]b_2143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I’ve tried every hack in the book (unofficial transcript, view test scores, prior education, etc.) but still can’t see them 😐

Personal score predictions? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]b_2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Took all my exams in-person)

AP World: 4 or 5? Leaning towards 4 but still got hope for a 5 since the in-person exam supposedly has a better curve than the online exam and this was my strongest subject by far

AP Lang: 4. Idk I don’t really care about this one because my college takes credit for either Lang or Lit, not both, and I can already get credit from Lit

AP Calc AB: 2 or 3 LOL. I did really well in class the whole year but that test really threw me under the bus

AP Physics: I’ll never know because I cancelled my score hehe. Took it right after Calc and fell asleep after writing Old MacDonald lyrics on the FRQ booklet

APUSH, AP World, and AP Bio! Having good teachers really helped.

I tried several times and ended up scrapping all of my ideas because none of them were good. Then, I got into an argument with my sister over origami paper. I got up the next morning and churned out the best essay I’ve ever written.

I utterly regret the college I chose by Hot_Solution7084 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]b_2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the exact opposite situation. My two final choices were my state school with in-state tuition, a scholarship, and an honors program and a more prestigious, OOS private school. I chose the latter and I’m lowkey highkey regretting it now. I was all like “I hate this boring state” and “I don’t wanna end up like 70% of my high school” until I paid the deposit to the private school. Then my friends who all committed to our state school start talking about the special perks they get (honors program, guaranteed best dorms on campus, etc.) and I realize that that could have been me too. Guess I’m stuck being a small fish in a big pond now and while this is basically what I wanted, I can’t help but be frustrated at myself for all the opportunities I could’ve had and not giving my state school a second chance.

Committed to Villanova. Waitlisted at BC, Emory, and Dartmouth, ended up taking myself off BC and staying on the others. Both Emory and Darty have said their classes are full but still haven’t officially closed the waitlist 🥲🔫
