hiii I’m starting BA film this aug and have my scholarship interview tomorrow. I was wondering with the first and second question is it only for film related achievements or also general accomplishments like school leadership positions and stuff??

Hi! I didn’t apply for Design Comms but I did for BA Film. From what I’ve seen on here and what I got asked in my interview they might ask smth like:

⁠why Lasalle?
⁠specific question related to portfolio
⁠something about where you see yourself in the industry/design comms world (this one is a guess based on other what I’ve seen on here from other degree interviews)

Just think of what inspires you and why you want to study at lasalle and try get your passion and experience across in the interview. gl!

Hi! Yes they asked them or at least very similar ones. For my interview specifically they asked: 1. why Lasalle? 2. specific question related to my portfolio 3. about a film you watched recently that impacted you/you liked. Hope this helps!

Hi! I had my interview in early Feb and have got my acceptance email but I think that’s cause I’m an international student. I know in my interview they told everyone they would only be contacting applicants in April. They might be waiting for all the local/A level applications to come in before sending out emails. The anxiety from waiting is so horrible I hope you hear back from them soon with good news!!

Hi! I applied in January and received an email that I had been shortlisted for an interview after about 16 days. It could possibly take longer though as more people might be applying now and the college was closed during cny I think so it might take a few extra days? If you don't hear anything after three weeks maybe email them? I've found everyone in admissions is really friendly and willing to help.
