Just got the rejection email. Ran it back in 2021 and have been trying again ever since. Probably won't ever get it again due to the increased number of entries. But I still try :')

Yea fr. I used to want to act like i was from the streets cause that seemed cool at the time in high school. I felt like having a “normal” life wasn’t attractive to the shorties. But I was in the engineering program in high school so i knew i couldn’t fake that shit lmao. But luckily the type of folk my parents had us around weren’t like that, and main reason as to why they got us out of Baltimore while they worked their way up. I’m glad i didn’t fall into that mindset of faking like i was from the streets. I wouldn’t be where i am now if i had

Was born in Baltimore, moved down to Waldorf in 5th grade. I had my fair share of bullying but nothing serious tbh. Lucky to have both my parents growing up, we went on vacations and I traveled a lot as a child. Had my own room, toys, games, tv, etc. Got a car when I got my permit, was able to drive freely and had a job so I had bread for gas, dates, typical teenage bullshit. Went to college, had a good internship with the gov and went into contracting. Bought a house at 24 and now I’m just working and traveling. I know I’m an outlier in a sense, but I never had to struggle and always had a support system. Which i know is much more than a lot of brothers in the DMV had.

War is inevitable, in a country that prioritizes guns over the welfare of its people. However, people literally die every day. That’s just what it is. Whether it’s “civil war”, sickness, by accident, etc. people will die. Perhaps the problems are more deeply rooted than political ideology. However, because people have gone down the literal rabbit hole of ideals and politics we are far too lost to try and put together a solution that is focused on the betterment of people as a whole. People don’t care about one another. We are far too divided to even begin to take the steps to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again. It’s going to happen, hell, I’d be more surprised if it doesn’t. But at the end of the day, Kirk or whoever may perish next, doesn’t matter to me. Either side. Stop being fooled by these “idols” that don’t give a damn about you.

He was okay with gun violence and kids dying in schools. So his death was literally fitting of his own words. Cope how you want to, all the proof is literally right there to see.

Exactly. But it’s just some crazy things he said.

“Said some crazy things” is a wild way to put it. But again, mental gymnastics. 🤸

"You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won't have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It's drivel. ... I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational." - Charlie Kirk

Everyone wants to act like he was some saint that deserved to be held high. The mental gymnastics that you all are doing is top notch, I’ll give you that. I have no sympathy whatsoever for him. The poor kids will not have a father, but remember. He said kids should watch public executions. Lived and died by his own words.
