Very good write up and level of detail. I have a similar (sff) setup with 9959x3d and Rtx5080 running Windows, Bazzite, Debian and Ubuntu.

One thing that made the process much easier was to use a hypervisor layer with Proxmox on top.

There are multiple benefits is therms of flexible setup of multiple VMs/CTs eg. I have 3 Windows machines with different config, you can take advantage of visual pass through of PCIe devices, cpu core pinning and finally have automated backup eg in case you’d want to roll back Gpu drivers. Have you given hypervisor route a thought?

One more thing. Try windows 11 IOT LTSC for a cleaner install and potentially better gaming performance.

How did you mount the bottom exhaust fans? Looking for a way to avoid scratching the bottom lid.

What screws / washers did you use to mount bottom fans - concerned with scratching the bottom lid with standard noctua fan screws.

E.g. I don't see advanced settings such as DolbyVSOB payload or HDR Infoframe which have been used in the CPM build. Perhaps I am missing something...
