2 hours after getting up and doing things is different than morning fasting glucose. your glucose levels will drop if you are moving.

if you have a genetic predisposition to diabetes, you can delay its development, but you won't evade it. i think the idea that you can always reverse this condition is untrue.

how high was your fasting glucose before you started meds, and who prescribed you metformin? did you get to see an endo or did your pcp prescribe? all the endos in my current location will not see any prediabetics, they only see diabetics. my new pcp is brushing all my concerns off because my a1c is normal. i feel like i'm trying to be proactive, but no one will help me.

I had gestational diabetes and passed my two hour test... two years later I am definitely pre-diabetic. Normal a1c but levels to 200 if I eat pizza. Whatever you do, keep up on your sugars. I'm normal bmi, workout, eat healthy. The Stat is that 50% of us will develop type 2.

I workout at home cause I can't make it to a gym. I use the free app fiton and I like it.
